Unhappy at first, but all good now August 18 we drove up from Bradenton and purchased the 2007 Volvo C 70 you offered, trading in our 2003 Mazda Miata Shinsen. I did not care for the August 18 we drove up from Bradenton and purchased the 2007 Volvo C 70 you offered, trading in our 2003 Mazda Miata Shinsen. I did not care for the deal, but my wife had her heart set and your guy knew it. We paid list for the car and $5,000 for our trade. Two sales people were saying the car had been inspected but your closer John, said No, no, no, we don’t check “as is” cars. Alarm bells went off but I didn’t do anything. Well the oil was changed, so somebody looked underneath. We signed off, “as is” but I was worried there were issues as your “bronze cars as is” read 100,000 miles and above while this one has 88,000. I was right. Timing belt kit and front brakes are expected with this age car. Replacing both leaking axles and a leaking front strut is not. Shop is saying an oil is leaking out of the axle, but they contain grease, not oil, unless oil was put in there to hide something, somewhere in the chain of ownership. Volvo dealer is quoting me over $7,000 for all! More than the cars list. I talked with a member of management over the phone, before we drove up, and asked for any leaks and was told “ I would not put out a car with leaks on my lot” We feel lied to on top of a bad deal. This is why people avoid dealers. BTW, all your regular salespeople were fantastic Update, The management reached out to me due to an earlier email I had sent to them. These issues are resolved. I very much appreciate their follow up and resolution. Things happen and I do not think they were intentional. I would go there again More

Walked out. I had many conversations with a sales associate and let him know I was ready to buy. Told him exactly what I wanted and that I had a couple of quotes already. He said he'd beat it by at least $500 - $800. We had our pre-approval with us and the other quote and went to the dealership. I specifically asked if he had the car we wanted, before we went in and he confirmed. He took us for a ride in a Mazda6 with upgrades and a more expensive color. We told him what we would spend and he tried to convince us to take this car - which we agreed to if he would match or beat the other dealers. The sales Manager also came over to appeal to us to pay a little more (a lot more) for a better equipped car. In the end they never did have the car we wanted to purchase and would not sell us that other car for the same price. But they kept stringing us along telling us they were just waiting for the GM to get back to them. And coming back and trying to talk us into another car, more expensive. Then they presented us with a Pre-Owned Car for the price we could get a new car at the other dealership. We walked out - and told them how disappointed we were. I would NEVER go back there. If you want an old-school sales experience where you play games back and forth with men who acted like teenage boys, then this is your place. More
Highly Recommended! Went way beyond expectations Can't recommend Cory Fairbanks Mazda enough -- they truly went way above and beyond all reasonable expectations to make us happy and satisfied custome Can't recommend Cory Fairbanks Mazda enough -- they truly went way above and beyond all reasonable expectations to make us happy and satisfied customers. First, they went well below invoice on a Mazda 6 GTR to beat all other dealers' very competitive offers and earn our business. HOWEVER, when we realized we had rushed into our decision and bought more car that we could really afford, we spoke to the sales manager, Fred Smith, the next day and without hesitation he told us to come back in and they allowed us to exchange the Mazda6 for the Mazda3 saving us ten thousand dollars! Even though we were at their mercy they went below invoice on that car as well and never once made us feel guilty for our poor decision and extra work we made for them (not to mention the price difference of the two vehicles). All the sales staff we dealt with, Fred, Willy, Amine, Beth, and especially Joshua, were pleasant and helpful and never made us feel pressured throughout the whole process. Highly recommended! More

Bait and Switch Games I thought long and hard about posting this because I have bought one car from them a year ago, and the service crew has been great so far. However, t I thought long and hard about posting this because I have bought one car from them a year ago, and the service crew has been great so far. However, the last time I came to the dealership fully prepared with all my numbers, so there wasn’t much room for them to wiggle out, although they tried. This time, they reached out to me with the following promotion: “LUCKY 22 I intend to make this short and to the point. We need to sell 22 new cars between now and the end of business Monday, July 2nd. We have had an incredible month and need only 22 additional sales in order to qualify for substantial Mazda volume incentives to reach our 2018 yearly goals. If we don't reach 22 sales by Monday night, we will miss out on a significant amount of money. In order to ensure that does not happen, we intend to pass on tremendous savings to all potential customers right away. We urge you to be among the lucky 22 to take advantage of this special offer. Act fast. I wish it were not so time sensitive, but it simply is. Contact me directly. Drive your hardest bargain possible. You will not be disappointed. Please call (855) xxx-xxxx to schedule an appointment today. Thank you, General Manager Cory Fairbanks Mazda” So, imagine after communicating with both a manager and a sales representative with all numbers of exactly what “my hardest bargain” was, and at least two responses back to me confirming that “what you are asking is not out of reason” my surprise when we got to the dealership and they basically told me we were $9,000 off and I was crazy for thinking they would have agreed to the terms I had laid out! What really made me angry is that they tried to act stupid that they did not understand the terms I had presented as my offer and told me I was crazy to think they would have sold the car below value...but you can read their email and be the judge. The terms I laid out were: New car $24,000. My terms: $13,500 net financed 60 months, 2.9% interest. Looking only to trade in car worth approximately $2,600 kbb. What can be misunderstood here? On the car we wanted that left a gap of about $8k after corporate rebates. Sure, I expected to have some negotiations, but not to be told, yes we are close and then, you are crazy if we are going to take a loss when I came in. The bottom line is they are still trying to employ the old bait and switch tactics that just waste everybody’s time. They need to wake up that many consumers are educated financially so don’t insult our intelligence. I feel that if you are not educated, don’t shop here because they will take you for as much as they can! Lastly, the internet manager (cannot remember by name, never gave me a card) requested time to review the emails and respond to me to try to make it right. I did not expect a car, but I did expect an apology. I have waited 5 days and not a peep. I am still angry...more so when I went back and re-read their promo “Lucky 22” email. They tried to make me feel stupid for asking for the deal I did; but they mislead me in their email and then continued to lead me on to get us in. No apology, no I see how you were mislead and we are taking steps to set it right....just a try to shut her up and get her out of here and move on to the next rube attitude is what I got. Dealing with their ingenuousness is not the way I want to waste my time again. Let the buyer beware! More
Had a reliable, effective salesman answering my questions. Overall, things worked out, but not impressed with finance rate being used as bait for buying extra products!
