Headaches From The Moment I Left The Lot To begin, I signed a lease on a 2016 Passat back in June of 2016. Salesman was Rusty, really great guy, extremely helpful, super caring and no issues whatsoever with him. A couple of days after I had the vehicle, I noticed it was pulling aggressively to the right. I called the dealership and they promptly made me an appointment. After the car being there literally the whole day, even though my appointment was at 9am, the car was "corrected" with an alignment and I didn't have to pay for it. Cool, I was happy and satisfied. Within' a few days, I thought it felt better but I told myself it was just my mind playing tricks. Not a month later, I had to make a 14 hour drive home for a funeral and as soon as I began to get up to highway speed, the car started pulling hard to the right again, to the point that it would switch lanes within a couple of seconds after letting go of the wheel. I brushed it off, I had a funeral so I obviously that was more important at the time. I called VW when I arrived back after the returning 14 hour drive and made an appointment for my 10,000 mile service. I brought the issue up to the service counter after the work was done and said it's still pulling to the right. I was told, and I quote, "yeah, some Passats actually do that". This is my third car and I've never in my life had a car pull to the right because the car just "does that"...but I had work so I nodded in awe and left. I regret not trying to get someone to help me at the time but again, I had work. Immediately following this, I had about 40 hours of driving to do due for work. Wasn't my choice, the Marine Corps doesn't give you the option of calling off so you can fix your car. After returning from that mayhem, I brought the car back for its 20,000 mile service. I brought the issue up immediately upon arriving so they would look at it. 3.5 hours later I'm told that it is indeed pulling to the right. They tried multiple solutions, nothing corrected it and finally they did a 4 wheel alignment just like they did when I first brought it in. Lord and behold, this time it was fixed. I don't know how the first alignment didn't correct it but this one suddenly did. Makes zero sense and when comparing the corrected alignment from the first visit to this visit, it had for the most part, remained the same off by .01 on some adjustments. Nothing to make a vehicle pull hard to the right. Plus all miles put on between alignments 95% highway miles. Meaning that from the time the first alignment was done to the time I got to the dealership for my 20,000 mile service, the alignment had remained the same. Now suddenly this new alignment fixed it. Again, makes no sense if they supposedly test drove it after the first alignment and said it was corrected. The icing on the cake was when I was told I would have to pay for the new alignment out of pocket. I get it, the warranty usually only covers the first 12,000 miles for an alignment but when the first alignment clearly wasn't done to standards, that's not my fault, that's the dealerships fault. I asked to speak to whom I believe was the service manager and she was rude, acted like I had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't stop mixing up the paperwork showing the alignments from the first and the current visit. For a service manager, she may wanna get under the hood of a car so she at least knows what she's talking about. That's like taking a boat captain and putting him in charge of a restaurant's kitchen, obviously it's not going to go very well. At the end of day, I paid the total cost which was still much more than any tire shop would charge for an alignment but whatever. I tried using a service coupon from the dealership's website and was told it wouldn't work with this. The coupon was for $20 off any service over $150. I walked out of that place with $279.99 less in my bank account. So, hats off to you guys. Hopefully Corporate follows up about the issue because they are well aware of it. As for me, I'll be driving an extra 45 minutes to go to a different VW dealership from now on. More

Thing is, I was never told it was aftermarket until I had problems with a USB port in center console that was not working properly. They tried to pin this on me saying I had it installed until I called Subaru of America who forced their hand into fixing it. The headliner is falling and they won't fix it under warranty because it's not OEM. Wish I known before i bought this car because I would not have bought it. They rushed me through the process and just wanted me out of there with my signature. Never buy from here, shady all over. Warranty voided before I even bought the car!!!!!!! More

Without hesitation, he said, see Pete at National VW; he will do right by you. When I went to see Pete, I met fantastic Matt and wonderful Bill who work with amazing Pete. They listened, accommodated and assisted me in purchasing a late model used VW. It was an effortless, pleasant and expedient transaction for me. My subprime credit rating was not an obstacle to a fair deal. They allowed me top dollar for my trade in. I had just come from a Ford dealership in Morehead City after a poor experience. There they informed me I would need to coerce someone to co-sign for me due to my credit status. They gave me a pittance of an allowance for my trade in. They did not offer any other solutions. This would have been my 3rd purchase from them. So much for customer appreciation. More

The second day was GREAT. Day 1 we went in found a car we wished to purchase. We played the cat and mouse game with the salesman... we made an offer he disappears to talk to the wizard comes back with a counter,, we make another offer he again disappears to the wizard. We left after half a day without a car disappointed. The next morning I made the exact same offer via internet I had made the day before. Within an hour Rusty called me and ask when we could come make the deal. Within 2r hours we left with the car with a full tank of gas and the car detailed. We were very happy. More
