I cannot say enough nice things about your team! Starting with Ethan, who was always so kind, even after my third visit to see him in one week. I was getting weary about my car having so many issue Starting with Ethan, who was always so kind, even after my third visit to see him in one week. I was getting weary about my car having so many issues and Big Daddy stopped me in the showroom and asked if he could help and I can't thank him enough for doing that. I didn't go in thinking I was going to buy a car. I also have to thank Trey for taking the time to explain to me the break down of numbers to get me into a new car, all without ever pushing me to buy. I also have to thank him for acknowledging our attitude after having so many issues with our car. The buying experience was great...Trey made me feel comfortable with my purchase and got me in a car I will actually save money having. I enjoyed getting to chat with Jeff Coxen and I know everyone will be sad when he leaves. Chuck was energic and made sure I understood the car and took care of getting the plate on, and helping me unload my old car. I also want to thank Anthony for driving me to work on Friday, congrats again on your little boy and don't worry you will eventually get some sleep! You have a great team of people and they all deserve a raise!! haha!! Thank you again so very much, Becky Crissinger More
Ethan is very friendly and patient with our problem. We wait for a long time to get our part (it is an issue of Mazda, not the dealership). We called him several times, but every time he was very patient t wait for a long time to get our part (it is an issue of Mazda, not the dealership). We called him several times, but every time he was very patient to answer our question. When the part arrived, he called us immediately and arranged the service appointment quickly for us. We are really satisfied with the service there and we definitely recommend it to our friends. We definitely would like to do our maintenance in sportdust in the future if the price is reasonable. We took our 2001 4Runner to the Sport Durst body shop (Sport Durst Automotive Group, http://www.sportdurst.com) because they were recommended by Progressive Insurance (our carrier). We were told that any (Sport Durst Automotive Group, http://www.sportdurst.com) because they were recommended by Progressive Insurance (our carrier). We were told that any work they performed would have a lifetime warranty. This was the start of several-years of HELL dealing with these IDIOTS! It's hard to describe how poor their work was. We had relatively minor repairs to the front and rear of our vehicle. The front repairs included replacing the bumper and aligning the grill to the bumper. Initially they installed a bumper that was at least 3-inches too wide for our vehicle & apparently thought we wouldn't notice! Once they installed the Toyota bumper that fit, aligning parts was another matter, something that meant multiple "bring-backs" and was never fully aligned. Our back-hatch was dented where the lock is mounted & the lock & latch didn't work right. They told me they replaced the plate in the center of the hatch & the lock hardware. When we picked up our vehicle after multiple returns for the front-end repair, we ASSUMED the back tailgate was fixed properly because the dent was gone. We were leaving for vacation the next day so we packed for the road & left. The first time we tried to open the back window, we found it opened but wouldn't close. Eventually (going down the interstate) I got it to close. We didn't DARE open it again on our vacation — not even when a customs officer asked me to open it. When I tried to open the back hatch on our trip it wouldn't open. THANKFULLY, when we arrived at our destination I was able to get the hatch opened to get everything unloaded. When we got back we took the 4Runner back in and were told the window mechanism "came loose" or was never properly put back in and that the lock mechanism "came loose". Soon thereafter the tailgate wouldn't latch and the lock mechanism tipped to the right when a key was inserted so I took it back to find out why. I was told several screws were left out during the last repair. This "fix" lasted just about long enough to get off their lot. By now I lost count of how many times we took the vehicle back to have things fixed that were supposedly already fixed. Now, several years later, we were getting another vehicle fixed & I asked the body-shop manager about once again taking our 4Runner in because the lock was still tipping to the right when a key was inserted. He assured me this would be covered under the lifetime repair guarantee, so I told him I would bring the 4-Runner in again to see if they could finally fix it right. The lock mechanism actually fell inside the hatch the morning I was taking it in. He apparently had a technician check the hatch & told me the plastic plate that holds the lock in place had been broken where one of the screws went through it & the part alone would cost me over $200. I told him this shouldn't cost me anything since they were the only ones to ever have the hatch apart so they were the only ones that could have broken it. He said that must have been when the previous manager ran the shop so he couldn't help me. He told me the best he could do was that he put the lock back in place with some glue, but that that wouldn't hold long and that we shouldn't use the lock. SO MUCH FOR THEIR "LIFETIME GUARANTEE"! The hatch immediately started hanging up so it wouldn't latch. This required dismantling the hatch & wiggling the mechanism so it would work. (This was the first time I had seen the inside of the hatch and I immediately saw where several screws were missing from their various “repairs”.) After the third time this happened I took the 4Runner back to Sport Durst and gave them a simple choice, repair the tailgate or I would take it elsewhere for repairs and sue them for the costs & damages. I was then told by Christy Powers (Body Shop Estimator) that the mechanism had simply worn out & the only "fix" was for me to pay to replace the entire latch mechanism. I reminded the her that we had been through this for several years and nothing was worn out. Each time the hatch needed repairs it was shown to have been something THEY DID that caused the problem. I once again said that they had the choice of fixing the hatch right or I would go elsewhere & sue. Jimmie Ferrell, the Body Shop manager told me to go ahead and sue. I left & immediately went across the street to Durham Toyota. Their technician found that when Sport Durst glued the lock mechanism in place, they bent the latch linkages, which is why the latch wasn't working. They confirmed that nothing was worn out. Once they straightened the bent linkages it worked fine. Looks like I need to sue Sport-Durst, but first I'm warning others to avoid dealing with them! GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR BODY WORK AND REPAIRS! Bentley is superb. Typically, I am critical of servicing my vehicle and dread bringing my vehicle into the shop for checkups. Bentley has changed that. I was towed to this dealership a few months ago when I was visiting Chapel Hill for my son's baseball game when the service light came on in my 2012 Elantra and I called the 800 service number on my car. was visiting Chapel Hill for my son's baseball game when the service light came on in my 2012 Elantra and I called the 800 service number on my car. I had paniced as it was a Sunday and I was going to be driving back home to Huntersville, NC, so I called the roadside assistance number. They told me the vehicle would have to be towed. When my ride took me to the dealer the sales manager, Brandon Arthur, immediately put me at ease and directed Carole, a sales person, to get me a loaner vehicle. They allowed me to send my ride away and said they would take care of me. Well, I felt they went above and beyond. They not only gave me a vehicle to use, Brandon said it would be fine for me to drive it home to Huntersville so I would not miss work, and that they would make sure my Elantr got attention the next morning and someone would be in touch. They had me in and out of there and I was able to see my son's baseball game before heading home. Then the next morning service called to say my vehicle would be looked at and they would get back to me. Later in the day they called to let me know it would be a while longer, so I arranged with them not to head back to Chapel Hill until the following day so I would be sure my vehicle was ready. The next day they followed up to tell me that they couldn't find anything wrong other that the computer had misfired and they reset it. I picked up my car and again everyone was friendly & courteous, and got me on my way in no time at all! The only glitch was that less than a week later my car did the same thing and this time another dealer found that it was a bad sensor, so I think that the technician at Sport Durst missed this. More
I made an appointment to have my car serviced. I was told to drop it off/ bring it in at 8am. Took my car there and didnt hear anything from the service dept. So around 2:30 pm I called to see what was going to drop it off/ bring it in at 8am. Took my car there and didnt hear anything from the service dept. So around 2:30 pm I called to see what was going on with my car. I was told that it had not even been looked at. I asked when and i was told maybe later today or tomorrow... Why would Sportdurst have me to make an appointment if they cant keep it??? Everyone was smiling and so helpful when I came to buy the car. But nobody cares when it needs to be fixed... My Time may not mean anything to you all at Sportdurst!!! But it means a lot to me... Thanks JJ for running away a person that thought highly of Sportdurst!! More

I received excellent service from Sport Durst Hyundai, when I took my 09 sonata in to be serviced. We found out we needed a new transmittion, I was afraid the manufacture would not cover this serv when I took my 09 sonata in to be serviced. We found out we needed a new transmittion, I was afraid the manufacture would not cover this service under my warranty. After, several phone calls Angela was able to get the dealer to cover the cost of repairs and provide us with a rental until the repairs were completed. I was very impressed by Angela's professionalism and tenacity in handling our problem. Angela is great and I will definitely refer my friends to Sport Durst because of the wonderful service we received. Thanks Michelle More
