Purchasing a vehicle is a great accomplishment but maintaining a vehicle is greater since that is the heartbeat of what keeps the car in tact and lasting for years. To see so many service advisors come and go over the past ten years has been a site to endure, but I am thankful and most appreciative that Ms. Angela Everette has been a service advisor you have been able to retain. If she was to leave, I would have my vehicle serviced somewhere else. Just like finding a doctor, dentist, or babysitter you can entrust with things you view most important in your life (ie: your health, family, children), having a trustworthy service advisor is also important since without a reliable vehicle - the average person could not perform the day to day tasks/errands that brings fulfillment of enjoying life and creating lasting memories. Car still isn't clean I recently purchased a new 2014 Hyundai Accent hatchback that had about 5,000 miles on it. It had been driven by staff to and from car shows, etc. R I recently purchased a new 2014 Hyundai Accent hatchback that had about 5,000 miles on it. It had been driven by staff to and from car shows, etc. Rodney Herndon was the salesman. The car needed to be detailed, as it had some stains on the seats and marks on the interior plastic, smelled of cigarette smoke, and badly needed waxed. The car also had a tiny rust spot above the rear wheel well. I asked about the car getting an oil change, and was assured the oil had been changed, but Rodney was unable to provide documentation of that so he said he would have the oil changed at the dealership. I took the car to the shop on a Saturday to have it detailed. I waited two hours, but when I took my car home it didn't look any better than when I took it in, and certainly didn't smell better. I was told it was because I had left some items on the seats of the car, so I made an appointment to take it back after removing everything from the car. It hadn't been waxed, and when I asked why, Rodney said that they never waxed the cars. (What?) I waited another hour and a half for the car, and again, it was in essentially the same condition as when I took it in. It did smell a little better (for about a week), but the stains on the seats were still there, and the car had not been waxed. I don't know what I waited for both of the times I took the car in. Rodney hadn't mentioned the oil change or fixing the rust spot again, so I just told him to send me a tube of touch-up paint and I would do it myself. As far as the oil change, it got forgotten, I guess, as apparently did the paint--he was supposed to mail it to me but I never got it. I feel that Rodney should have checked to make sure the car was detailed properly, especially after I brought it in the second time. It doesn't appear that any effort was made to remove the stains on the the front and back seats, and not much was done to remove the cigarette odor even the second time, as a week later it reeked just as much. I'm presently looking into ways that I can remove the odors myself, and it also looks like I have to wax the car and get the oil changed myself, on top of pursuing getting the paint so I can fix the rust spot. I'm really disappointed in the aftercare I received once I purchased my vehicle and would not buy another car from this dealership. More
