Bad experience with service department and managers We had our Hyundai Santa Fe in for maintenance in March; one of the billed for services was replacement of all spark plugs. Two months later an igniti We had our Hyundai Santa Fe in for maintenance in March; one of the billed for services was replacement of all spark plugs. Two months later an ignition call broke and the shop we brought it in to for that told us that the spark plugs were old and could have been a potential cause for the coil to break. The service rep refused that that is even theoretically possible - when I pointed him to google "can a bad spark plug cause ignition coil to break" (try it yourself...) he came back with another lie: a picture of a used (copper) spark plug next to an iridium tip plug to show me how "used up a spark plug would need to be to be considered old" - complete b/s... I tried for two days every hour to call his manager; when that guy finally returned my call after 3 days, I already had the other shop fix it because I needed the car. Then, two months later - the next ignition coil breaks; again with an old plug under it. This time the manager stayed at "well, if you don't trust us, then why would you have us replace it"... Well, two confirmed lies in it's hard to trust... and why would I have you fix it? Because now I'm out $420 TWICE to fix coils after you skipped on a service item you billed us for. More

If it was not for him, I would give you a 2 maybe 3 at best. This is my 3rd car I have purchased from this dealer, and might be the last. My brand new car once I drove it off the lot, and tried to turn the stereo on...nothing. Had to come back in the morning on 2 separate days to finally get my brand new car in working order. Then when I get in the car its still almost empty from the other night when purchased. Didn't fill up my tank. had to wait again. Plus I don't think it was 100% cleaned and detailed, it was a whirlwind of things going on, and at that point I just wanted my car and to be done with it. Still don't know if my $50 target gift card has been processed at all for the test drive I took, which lead me to buy the car. Now I do love my Hyundai Veloster, I traded in my older Re-Mix edition Veloster for this new turbo one. I am impressed with new layout and feature of the tech package, the dash has been redone slightly but in a great way. And the added HP from the turbo engine makes it a little more fun to drive than my non turbo that I traded in. More
