I chose to start my search for a new Santa Fe by contacting 18 dealerships in North Carolina and Virginia. Within the first 8 hours of reaching out to Sport Durst, Kristen and I had exchanged over contacting 18 dealerships in North Carolina and Virginia. Within the first 8 hours of reaching out to Sport Durst, Kristen and I had exchanged over a dozen emails as she sought to push beyond a generic quote and find out what I REALLY wanted, what was important to me and what was not. It was that level of customer service that went well beyond anything I saw from the other 17 dealers and why I chose in the end to go to Sport Durst for my purchase. The solution that Kristen came up with for me was not standard, she didn't just fire a quote back to me, she really tried to get me the vehicle I wanted and I appreciated that. When I came into the dealership on Friday I didn't intend on actually purchasing at that time. Kristen, Mike and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to introduce me to the vehicle and when i said I was ready to buy (with a newborn and a hungry wife at the house) they sped me through the process with none of the normal hassle you get at a dealerships. I highly recommend the team at Sport Durst and Kristen and Mike to anyone. More
My husband and I visited Sports Durst Hyundai to test drive a 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS and met Terry McCoy. In the past when looking for a new vehicle, we have always been met with very pushy sales people interested in one thing, selling the car to us that day and failing to listen to our questions. Our experience with Mr. McCoy and other sales folks on the floor at Sport Durst was completely opposite. We kept waiting for the "pushy" sales approach, but to our great surprise, that never came. Even though the dealership did not have a 2012 Sonalta GLS for us to drive, we drove a 2011, which we still loved and decided to leave a deposit and have Sport Durst find our Radiant Silver 2012 Sonata GLS. This took very little time and in just a few short days and some paperwork later we are driving away in our new car. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), I rate our sales experience, finance experience and so far service experience all perfect 10. I wish to especially thank Terry, James and Ken for their interest in a medical condition my son has and for special requests we had for the vechicle to aid with his condition. God Bless! Bought 2 cars from this dealership. Had an accident where my car was totaled. I canceled my service contract which I purchased outside my car loan. After providing all relevant documents to the service contract company and also the dealership, Dennis Koballa mentioned that all files were forwarded to the finance department and I should be receiving my refund by 1st week of September. After not receiving or hearing anything till the second week, my queries (email, phone calls, voice mails) regarding the matter were not answered. Most of the people I spoke to were clueless as to who could help other than the 'super efficient' Dennis Koballa. The lesser said about the attitude or knowledge of the receptionists, the better. Clearly not interested in providing any sort of decent customer service, they will forward your calls to random number where you will most probably get the voicemail or hear a message saying the call cannot be completed! One of the worst experiences dealing with customer service and trust me, I have been dealing with quite a few since my accident and hands down, this is the WORST! I do not recommend this place to anyone out there. Go to the Toyota Dealership across 15-501 or find another place. More
Tony was very attentive to me and my family from the beginning. The car we had on hold wasn't exactly what we thought the color would be (interior) so I remembered that they also told me a different color was coming in the same time. Sure enough the other color did come in and was available so we switched our choice and got a nice new Elantra. More

He also helped me get a payment that I could afford. My entire experience was top-notch. Everyone that I came in contact with was great. They all showed wonderful customer service. I came to the dealership after receiving a letter stating that I could get a vehicle even though I had filed bankruptcy. I knew there had to be a catch, so I went in unprepared. I was completely impressed with the fact that the letter I received was true and straight-forward. I didn't have to jump through hoops to get a vehicle. Thanks to Tony, I was able to get a great amount for my 2000 Monte Carlo "black beauty" Trading in my car covered my down payment. Now, I am the proud owner of my new "black beauty" - a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I have got so many compliments on my new ride. This is all thanks to my wonderful, very friendly, and very knowledgeable sales associate, Tony. He was awesome through out the whole process. Also, thanks to everyone that didn't mind (and told me to leave him alone and let him play) my son running around the showroom. They even gave him a basketball to play with while we were going through the whole sale. I have already started spreading the word about the dealership, my sales associate, and my experience. We definitely met the right sales person in Ricky: very friendly and inviting, not too pushy but convincing, leaving enough space to make decisions about the car we wanted and knowing his product well. He even let us check out his personal car (he clearly believes in his Sonata!). It was almost fun buying with him (and he seems to have fun doing it). Refreshing to actually be able to really 'talk' with a salesperson. While I expect that Sport Durst earned its commission, they gave us a very decent price. The car came from a Florida dealership that had decked it out with the typical nonsensical 'upgrades' like extra stripes and overpriced 1st aid kit. We encountered none of those aggravating sale-tricks with Ricky. Thanks! More
