I had heard good things from previous friends that were able to get a car through circumstances that normally a dealership would not approve a purchase from. De'Angelo Smith-Murrell greeted me as I was walking in the door on my first visit and gave me tips to improve my chances on getting a car. And when I returned few months later every thing he said came to past! It was a pleasure having him as my sales person. Scott Hooper was very friendly and funny guy that made the process of financing go smoothly and help me understand my terms. Finally I had the pleasure of meeting Rashawn Bass and Brandy Ranes. Both were a delight. Brandy however spent most her time with me in the delivery process and made sure I understood the features of my new car and how to use them. I was greeted at the front door by your salesman Joh Fleming, he was very polite, friendly and professional. He stated he needed to gather a little information from me and after that, he showed me around the lot and gave me information on the different automobles I was interested in. He explained the pros and cons, where actually there were no cons in regards to any of the automobles. He explained to me about gas milages, my concern about tire sizes and safety isues. After i made my decision, Jon took me back inside got the keys to my now new 2013 Dodge Avenger for a test drive and he also explain to me about all the different features and extras that are included with the car. After the test drive while I waited for the paperwork to be processed, Jon made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. After all the credit check and finance work up was completed, Jon gave me to good news that I was approved and that I would be driving home my new car. I thought I was dreaming and even pinched myself to check. I have never owned a brand new never driven before car in my life. I didn't even think that I was going to be approved let alone leave with a beautiful car. I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Patriot from Sport Durst Automotive Group, couldn't be happier. It's more than I expected, and customer service was excellent. Earlier that day I went to another dealership were I had made an appointment to see a Hyundai Santa Fe used. Salesperson (don't even remember his name) told me he probably couldn't find anything for me, showed me 4 vehicles, well out of my price range, used, and nothing like the SUV size I wanted, I was very disappointed. I left and decided to go to Sport Durst in Durham after seeing all the commercials. Soon as I get there my mom and I were greeted by DeAngelo Smith-Murrell who was very polite, friendly, and excited to help us. I explained to him how the morning went horrible, he said he would do everything he could to turn things around. I explained to him I wanted something good on gas, room for my 6 year old daughter, I like driving/traveling, CD player, good system, my mom chimed in saying my dream car is a Hummer H2. Deangelo noticed I pulled up in a jeep, which I had been driving jeeps for about 9 years or more. Deangelo went off with my requests, driver's license, and application, came back a few minutes later took me to go look at Brand New 2013 Jeep Patriot in several colors, different features, and also a Jeep Compass, I was alittle apprehensive, considering I never thought I could purchase a New Vehicle. DeAngelo explained he wouldnt show me something I couldn't afford, and me purchasing used I would basically pay a New Car payment, which made sense. DeAngelo was extremely knowledgable about the Vehicles, the special features, and the extras that are offered by Sport Durst. After a Test Drive, I was ready to see what type of payments I was looking at, to my shock DeAngelo and Scott Hooper after some discounts and rebates to help me, managered to get vehicle in my price range. After going over all the paperwork, which was explained in detail and terms I could understand. I purchased my Red 2013 Jeep Patriot, (my mini hummer, lol) Then it was off to set up my first free oil change, and have other programs and discounts explained to me by Rashawn Bass, while my New Car was being detailed. Rashawn was just as friendly and funny, polite, and enthusiastic, also extremely Knowledgable. It was a lot of fun. Now it was time to get my car home, since I had drove there I needed to get my car back home, DeAngelo and Rashawn more than happier to follow me to my house in Creedmoor. That's what you call going above and beyond!!! Oh yea and I received follow up calls from everyone. Thank you DeAngelo Smith-Murrell, Scott Hooper, and Rashawn Bass you made this a great experience, me and mom are very happy.
