My husband George and I visited Sport Durst on Saturday, March 30. Our salesperson Glenn Rice, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in. We initially went to the dealership with a used vehicle in mind. Glenn was able to get us approved for a NEW vehicle. This totally blew my mind. We had gone to several USED car dealership and they were not as persistent as Glenn Rice. Glenn took us on several test drives and we did not feel rushed. He took his time to show us every vehicle and it capabilities, as well as, the bells and whistles. Our initial impression of Glenn was he was here to help and not just your 'normal' car salesman. That was very much appreciated. The approval process was much faster than we expected. We were out of the dealership within in 4 hours, which was quicker than our former experiences with a dealership. Our next contact was with Scott Hooper, the Finance Manager. Mr. Hooper, was very pleasant and was very thorough with the knowledge of his job.He did a fantastic job explaining our loan paperwork. Our final contact was with Rashawn Bass, the Delivery Coordinator. Speaking with Mr.Bass was like having a conversation with a family member. We enjoyed discussing our Christianity and sharing the goodness of the Lord! As my husband and I shared with Mr. Bass, we had never purchased a 'brand new' vehicle before.....this brought tears to my eyes! We purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey. We know that this appointment at Sport Durst was a divine appointment. Mr. Bass walked us out to our new vehicle explained every aspect of the SUV in detail. He informed us that he was available if we had any questions after leaving the lot. I can not say enough about the experience at Sport Durst, Durham.
