Our experience at Sport Durst was one I will never forget. At first we were a little iffy because when we first pulled up we walked the entire three lots until someone finally came to see if we needed forget. We are thankful that Carlos Greene saw fit to come out and take care of us. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care. Scott Hooper was very patient with me when I kept messing up my signatures on the forms that needed to be signed. I was too excited! LOL! Brandy Hanes was very thorough when she explained everything to us from the roadside assistance info to syncing our phones to the bluetooth in our brand new Dodge Avenger! There were others whose names that I don't remember or didn't get who made us feel very welcome, comfortable, and appreciated for bringing our car search/buying business to Sport Durst. One guy even gave my autisitc nephew a toy car which he hasn't let out of his sight. I didn't want to leave Sport Durst and I felt like we have made new friends for life. Everyone answered all our questions and concerns and made sure that we were accomodated in every way possible. I originally came to this dealership with low expectations of leaving with a car, but this team was of great help in helping me to purchase one. The whole experience was one filled with patience and kindness. Everyone had very friendly demeanor, and were the antithesis of what I have come to expect when visiting a car dealership. I never felt pressured to purchase an automobile; the whole experience was pressure and stress free. From the salesman to the finance manager to the delivery coordinator, everyone was very patient and understand and helpful. I especially want to show my gratitude for Wesley; he was very professional, friendly, and completely engaged throughout the whole process. I constantly apologized for not being very organized and for the process taking longer than usual, but he was very reassuring. I had a great time talking with him and the insurance agent (T. Neptune) while I waited for what seemed like days for the financing to go through (the bank had to make sure all of their T's were crossed and I's were dotted. My husband George and I visited Sport Durst on Saturday, March 30. Our salesperson Glenn Rice, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in. We initially went to the dealership with a us March 30. Our salesperson Glenn Rice, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in. We initially went to the dealership with a used vehicle in mind. Glenn was able to get us approved for a NEW vehicle. This totally blew my mind. We had gone to several USED car dealership and they were not as persistent as Glenn Rice. Glenn took us on several test drives and we did not feel rushed. He took his time to show us every vehicle and it capabilities, as well as, the bells and whistles. Our initial impression of Glenn was he was here to help and not just your 'normal' car salesman. That was very much appreciated. The approval process was much faster than we expected. We were out of the dealership within in 4 hours, which was quicker than our former experiences with a dealership. Our next contact was with Scott Hooper, the Finance Manager. Mr. Hooper, was very pleasant and was very thorough with the knowledge of his job.He did a fantastic job explaining our loan paperwork. Our final contact was with Rashawn Bass, the Delivery Coordinator. Speaking with Mr.Bass was like having a conversation with a family member. We enjoyed discussing our Christianity and sharing the goodness of the Lord! As my husband and I shared with Mr. Bass, we had never purchased a 'brand new' vehicle before.....this brought tears to my eyes! We purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey. We know that this appointment at Sport Durst was a divine appointment. Mr. Bass walked us out to our new vehicle explained every aspect of the SUV in detail. He informed us that he was available if we had any questions after leaving the lot. I can not say enough about the experience at Sport Durst, Durham. From the beginning to the end (from Glenn Rice to Scott Hooper to Rashawn Bass) it was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be recommending others to this dealership.
