Bruce Bright, best car salesperson ever. Right from the get go, Bruce managed to make my husband and I feel very comfortable. Having just relocated to NC things have been a bit stressful. Tony and Scott were very nice, too, but I had the best car buying experience ever with Jack Holt. Very friendly, didn't push, didn't try to upsell me on what I wanted. My wife and I went into the dealership to test drive and generally look over a jeep as it one of three cars I was considering buying. The salesman, Bruce Bright, was open, friendly, and aggressive in the sense of trying to find out what I was looking for in a car. He and his manager were also aggressive (again, in a good sense) in finding a price that would work for me. Bruce was also careful to insist that I contact him to schedule any service arrangements (e.g., oil changes) in order to minimize what I have to do. So he wasn't leaving the customer once the sale was made. I have bought cars in PA, IL, and NJ, and for some reason there seems to be much more paperwork in NC. Nonetheless, Scott Hooper, finance manager, handled it smoothly and with minimal hassle on our part. Nicholas Dozier walked me through the operation of the controls and the various 'do dads and gee gaws' that make cars what they are today. He also assisted with the Bluetooth connection to my cell phone. I didn't anticipate driving away with a new car nor feeling that I was going to get a great deal nor thinking, "okay, I can come back here again." But I did, and I would not hesitate to recommend the dealership and Bruce to anyone who is looking for a car. Dick Hinson More
OMG I went in the dealership 10.12.13 and was already un-hopeful was just sparing my luck but I went and as soon as I pulled up and got out Wesley Washingtion approched me and stated once inside that I w un-hopeful was just sparing my luck but I went and as soon as I pulled up and got out Wesley Washingtion approched me and stated once inside that I would be in a new car, sure enough (yes it took a day) but sure enough I was in a New Dodge Journey 2013 and that tell me that Sport Durst (DODGE) is very confident and will go the extra mile. There was some bumps and I have Emmit Minor to thank he made the bank process happen. He did what he had too to make sure I was a smiling customer. Scott Hooper went over all the paper work with me and was careful about explaining everything to me throughly, most dealers want a signature and push you on out the door and don't care two cents, not Mr Hooper he made I knew what I was signing. Lastly.....but not least.....Mr Nicholas Dozier....LOL He is one funny dude and cool, he went over the pamplets and explain the Lemon Deal about the laws with that which I knew nothing about. He went over the CD manual and the little things the service dept handles and offers. He stated how he is the go-to man and can be very well depended on.....I believe that.....and he gave me a goody bag had he smiling ear to ear and then had me hit the bell which was hilarious. Then Mr Dozier (Nicholas) and Wesley Washington walked me so gentleman like to my new car and Mr. Nich Dozier showed me how everything works because I didn't know how to work a thing.... so I can say that Sport Durst when they show those funny commercials they mean every word. My 2004 Dodge Dakota's engine light came on while on a routine drive home from work one evening. I made arrangements to bring the truck in for service as I usually do at Sport Durst. When the repair bill came back at approximately $1000.00, I decided to pursue pricing and availability of a new truck. I've always had an interest in the Ram 1500's and so this is what I asked to speak with a sales consultant about. That's when I met Jack Holt. Jack was a complete professional: competent, friendly, reliable, timely, honest, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. I've bought two Dodge products- my new Ram 1500 and my Dakota. Both experiences were excellent- I still remember the name of my sales consultant from 10 years ago and I'm sure that Jack will be equally as fondly recalled in 2024. I never felt pressured during the long and somewhat challenging negotiations to come a price that I was comfortable with. Jack always seemed to have a can-do attitude and worked hard on my behalf with the guys behind the manager's desk to get the deal done. Not only was the purchasing experience a great one, Jack went out of his way to provide me with a brand new truck to take home and trial for a few days. This certainly seemed a bit unorthodox, but was a critical aspect in my decision making process. How can you buy a car until you truly see it in your own garage? The follow up on the purchase has equally been as stellar. Jack has been on the ball and has made me feel that I'm still an important customer/client even though I've already signed a purchase agreement and he probably could have moved on to others in the looking/buying process. I would rate Jack Holt as absolutely outstanding- I will certainly refer all of my colleagues and friends in the market for a new vehicle to Sport Durst and to Jack. He deserves significant recognition for a job well done. I would also like to mention two other critical folks in my decision making process: first, Mr. Jon Flemming. Jon was not my direct sales consultant, but he was an excellent resource in regards to specific Ram truck questions that I had during the process. Jon's advice and thoughts were most appreciated and I felt comfortable in my decision after speaking with him. Additionally, Mr. Brian Boulay who played the role of "manager behind the desk" that I mentioned previously deserves a significant amount of recognition as well. Brian went to bat with multiple other dealers and with the finance "powers that be" to get me the truck I wanted, even after we had negotiated and nearly settled on a different vehicle. Never once did I hear the word no from Jack or Brian-the no was replaced by an attitude of "how can I make you happy and get you what you want." I very much appreciate all three of these superb Sport Durst team members for all that they have done and continue to do for me. More
