Beware before you buy a vehicle here. When I purchased a brand new car from them 3 years ago, I was offered and signed a document that included 10 oil changes. My surprise today at my 4th oil change was tha brand new car from them 3 years ago, I was offered and signed a document that included 10 oil changes. My surprise today at my 4th oil change was that this dealer "was sold" to another company but still operates under the same name of Sport City, the emails that I receive, the receipts, all current paper work still say John Eagle!, and they won't honor previous oil changes agreements. I spoke to Juan Laca, the salesman that signed my "program", and he was limited to tell me that he only sells cars, when he was the one that sold me that “program” if I was able to pay a little more for my vehicle. Knowing that Sport City is well known for cheating a lot during their process of selling a car I bought last year from Toyota of Dallas and so far, they have been sincere and honest. Claim warranties and recalls from Sport City has been very difficult with this truck, and I need to mention also that the negotiation process was shady since the beginning, and this is the result! They won't honor what is on paper. Such a bad practice of not honoring written agreements could be a great story for any news channel. More

Just took my 2018 Corolla in to have the recall done as well as oil change. Just found out today that my lifetime oil change is no longer valid which was part of the perks when I purchased the car. No co well as oil change. Just found out today that my lifetime oil change is no longer valid which was part of the perks when I purchased the car. No communication was sent that I am no longer eligible for this. Anyone who purchased a car and had this should be GRANDFATHERED in. This is done everywhere. Does Lithia have their head buried under a rock? I have purchased 3 cars at this dealership. This will be my last one. If Lithia cannot inform previous customers of changes how can they inform new ones.....don't shop at this dealership. Go somewhere else! More
I'm not sure how they can legally cancel the Lifetime oil change program, but they did ... terrible business ethics, go somewhere else. We added the oil change maintenance program which was supposed to be a lifetime oil change. Only to realise recently when I went to do oil change that they cancelled the program. I didn't get any prior info about this cancellation via email or regular postal service ((although they claimed they did)). Prior to signing up I was skeptical about the program but they assured me as long as I own the vehicle...it is for lifetime! I still own the Camry, why are they not keeping their own end of the bargain? More
Absolutely horrendous This review is for the service department. I scheduled an appointment to bring in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma in for service with asking specifically for a loaner and was told verbally over the phone that they would have a loaner, I asked again to verify that they did have a loaner, confirmed. Brought my Tacoma in for service, no loaner available, okay thanks bye. I called the service manager (yea, I did that.... I'm not proud of it either) and told him that I don't like being lied to or my time wasted. 15 mins later I get a call, they have a loaner..... hmmm, interesting, but ok, so I headed back to the dealership. This was on 06/27/2020. The problem that I dropped my truck off for was a problem that had been replaced back in January of 2020 and I was currently experiencing the exact same problem and since I was still covered under the factory warranty I thought, hey no problem I get it replaced again and go about my day. Monday 06/30/2020 at 10;30 I get a call from my service advisor that the problem I had was NOT covered under my factory warranty and it would $800.00 to fix it. I became upset and stated that the same issue was fixed under 6 months ago and it was covered then, what is the difference? I have a metal chain y'all, a metal chain. See, my problem is my power door locks, fob, and proximity detection are inoperable and this same exact thing happened in January of 2020 and I got a replacement ECM covered under factory warranty but all of a sudden now it isn't covered under warranty, because I have a necklace hanging from my rearview mirror, so I contacted the technician that did the original repair, we are good friends and he has been a Toyota Master Tech for 27 years, he states that what they are telling me is total fabrication. Now, here I sit with a fairly new truck that has no working locks and no working fob and can't be locked and secured at night. Fantastic. I am so excited Now I have to go back to this place and deal with these terrible people to hear more lies and more deceitfulness, please god go ANYWHERE else besides this place. More

Today my wife tried to make an appointment for service and was told that they cancelled the program. I find this confusing since I still own the car and I appear to be living. They are not returning my calls. This is nothing less than theft! We will not be going back to Sport City Toyota for anything and we recommend everyone staying away. More

I have used that dealers Went to John Eagle Sports City Toyota today to get service for my 2009 Tacoma Truck, which I purchased from that dealership. I have used that dealership for all my repairs since the original purchase. Today I needed brake work, free lifetime oil change, console light bulb replacement and a state inspection. I was informed by the service man, they no longer honor the free lifetime oil change. I told him they could not cancel that service since my truck purchase stated free lifetime oil change. He said the whole program had been canceled. That my truck had received the maximum amount of free oil changes. I stated, it was a lifetime obligation by Sports City. He said it had been canceled. I told him I would go elsewhere to get the service I needed for my truck and I left. John Eagle Sports City Toyota has lost a customer. More
