Disrespectful, Dishonest and unprofessional Pete(salesman) and Dustin (finance) were both rude and unprofessional. Pete was very nice over the phone. Once I arrived he became condescending when Pete(salesman) and Dustin (finance) were both rude and unprofessional. Pete was very nice over the phone. Once I arrived he became condescending when negotiating the price of the car. He tried to negotiate a price higher than my Edmunds.com discount. Despite me calling him out and showing him proof of my discount, he still somehow managed to charge me $60 over the price of the discount, not including tags taxes and title fees.(and $299 processing fee). Pete was also frustrated that I arrived with my own financing from my credit union. After I signed my check, Pete still attempted to have me complete a credit application. I called him out on that and he said he needed to make sure I wasn’t on the do not sell list??? xxx are you talking about sir? If that were true, Why would you wait till I’ve already signed half of my documents and filled out a check to make sure you were “doing your job”. Dustin was no better. I asked him to call my credit union while I was there to receive the 4 digit access code to my check so I would know exactly what my monthly payment would be. Dustin said “I’m not doing that now, I’ll do it tomorrow, I have other customers waiting”. I told him they would have to wait because he is helping a customer now. He tried to assert himself again but to no avail. I asked him if he was unwilling to call my credit union? He then snatched my documents from the table and stormed out in an aggressive manner. He came back in and said do you have the number to the credit union? What’s all the attitude about Dustin? He rushed through my documents and didn’t explain thoroughly the additional benefits I know that dealerships offer. No problem, wasn’t that interested but I know what to expect. Overall, I would not return here. Pete made statements that were offensive and condescending. I’d hate to say his actions were racially motivated but I honestly feel they were. If I were not a young black man with natural dread locs I may have had a better experience. I took away the opportunity to be taken advantage of financially and they were upset about it. I hope they learn from this and movIng forward hopefully they learn to never judge a book by its cover. More
