Don't like working with dealerships The salesmen were always pleasant and cordial. However, dealerships have adopted a business model where everything in predetermined; 'our way or the The salesmen were always pleasant and cordial. However, dealerships have adopted a business model where everything in predetermined; 'our way or the highway'. This is completely unacceptable with used cars where there are infinite variables. When I expressed concerns about the condition of the rig or about the deal, everything was dismissed, swept under the carpet, and/or poorly countered/explained. (There were also 2 things my inspector got wrong but those were not explained to me well so very frustrating until I figured them out myself) Book prices were good when in the dealers favor (lowest book trade-in) but not for retail (purchase price - set using local list prices). I will shop for used cars in the private community from now on. More
