I drove from akron and am glad I did. This dealership is top notch and honest. Daniel worked with me on the phone and was very patient and friendly. They actually misqouted me a price of 300 below invoice, top notch and honest. Daniel worked with me on the phone and was very patient and friendly. They actually misqouted me a price of 300 below invoice, and meant to say Msrp. When i brought this to there attention my salesman admitted to him saying that and told his manager. They ended up making the deal they had promised. Now i know this was no sneaky dealer tactic becuzz i had been shopping a while and they gave me 1600 more for my trade than 6 other dealera and sold me the car for 500 cheaper than the other 6 dealers. I really appreciated there honesty and willingness to make it right. Car was emaculate and everyone was very friendly. Mike Wilson 2013 GTI More
This was by far the easiest car buying experience of my life. Anthony took time to work with us and had everything arranged for us before we ever set foot in the store! We had called a couple other dealers life. Anthony took time to work with us and had everything arranged for us before we ever set foot in the store! We had called a couple other dealers about their advertised prices and always seemed to find that their was hidden fees that were not disclosed. When I found a jetta I liked on Autotrader I called up to the store and it was very refreshing to have someone who gave us the information we asked for and made everything make sense! I plan on buying another car from Anthony and I would certainly recommend that anyone else who is looking at a new VW do so as well! He and the rest of the staff took care of us from start to finish and demonstrated professionalism and courtesy the entire time. Thanks again! More

We have two small children and prefer to negotiate our car purchases over the phone so we are not tying up our Saturday or Sunday sitting in a dealership all day. Called the dealership to discuss a purcha car purchases over the phone so we are not tying up our Saturday or Sunday sitting in a dealership all day. Called the dealership to discuss a purchase of a used, 2010 Acura TSX. Informed Anthony of where we wanted to be in regards to monthly payment. After a few phone calls back and forth, we were very happy with the information we were provided and made arrangements to come in and test drive the vehicle. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the car was parked in front of the dealership, waiting for us to test drive. As we walked in, Anthony greeted us and let us know that the car war ready for our test drive and immediately offered us refreshments. My wife and I declined, yet he went off with our two children, 3 and 6, in tow to get them a beverage. Very courteous and impressed that he showed enough to take care of EVERYONE in our family – not just the decision makers. We went outside and he went over many of the features of the car. Despite being a Volkswagen dealer, he really knew the car inside and out. Needless to say, the car was impeccable, clean, detailed; just as described in the online listing. Anthony understood that we were shopping around and never applied any pressure. The next day, after driving a car a competetor’s dealership, I called Anthony and informed him that we wanted to purchase the Acura. I arrived later that afternoon and was in the dealership for less than an hour and drove away with my brand new-to-me car. This included the time it took to transfer my plates, a salesman to grab a tank of gas, and the contract paperwork to be drawn up – the Finance Manager even made a special trip in with his daughter as his wife was sick and he was at home for the day watching the kids!! GREAT experience with this dealer, in fact, they are in the process of searching for SUVs for my wife for a future purchase. More

My husband & I came in looking for a new Jetta and we 1st met with well he called himself Robot (really what adult calls himself that?). He was rude & stupid! Did NOT know anything about the car tried to 1st met with well he called himself Robot (really what adult calls himself that?). He was rude & stupid! Did NOT know anything about the car tried to xx his way through his little speech. Next we met Bill. He did nothing but give us a bunch of lines (typical of carsalesmen)! The ONLY person who was professional was the finance guy Chris. He came in and went over our credit score and showed us what was wrong with it (we had a bankruptcy a year ago). He assured us that he was going to get us a loan and then told us the rest of the process that was going to happen. Chris then went into his office and Robot came back! He made me feel uncomfortable and my husband and I made an excuse to leave. We called Chris and said we did not want to finish the deal with Spitzer and bought elsewhere. We didn't and I think he knew that because the questions he asked. Before he hung up he said if there was anything he could do for us to give him a call. We will not need anything and will NEVER step foot in their dealership. We will go to Ganley even though Spitzer is 3 miles away from our house. Bill & Robot (????) made us feel that uncomfortable! I was looking to upgrade from my 2006 VW Touareg and through my comparison shopping had decided on a pre-owned/certified 2011 VW Touareg TDI. My husband found that Spitzer had a pre-owned/Certified 2012 through my comparison shopping had decided on a pre-owned/certified 2011 VW Touareg TDI. My husband found that Spitzer had a pre-owned/Certified 2012 Touareg TDI. My husband called the dealership on Monday to get some information and we were going to wait until the weekend to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to the dealership, but decided to make the trip on Wednesday. I called Wednesday before I left work to tell Bill Burke, who was currently driving the Touareg, that we were coming to see it. When we got to Spitzer, Bill greeted my husband and me and showed us the 2012 Touareg, which was prepped and clean. Steven, another sales agent, took us for a test drive and went over all of the new options on the 2012 that my 2006 did not have. Bill and Steve gave me a good price on my VW trade in and a good price on the Certified 2012. Additionally, because the 2012 was a certified pre-owned I got a GREAT interest rate through VW financial. Steve stayed an hour later that the dealership closed to go over the Touareg with me and my husband to make sure we knew how to work the integrated Navigation system, phone system, SIRIUS, ect. I couldn’t be happier with my new Touareg, and Steve called to follow up with me a few days later and informed me that someone else came in to buy this Touareg the following Friday, so it’s a good thing I didn’t wait. The 2 1/2 hour drive was well worth the GREAT customer services and experience I recieved with Spitzer. More
After waiting around for a car at another dealership who then sold it out from under me, I made my way to Spitzer VW Brian Shull greated me in the parking lot and I test drove the endeavor. I knew from that then sold it out from under me, I made my way to Spitzer VW Brian Shull greated me in the parking lot and I test drove the endeavor. I knew from that point that this was the car I NEEDED to have, and Brian knew that also! He worked hard with Chris Olejko all day on tuesday and wednesday to get my finance where I wanted it to be. I went in Wednesday night and signed paper work on my amazing 2011 Endeavor. The price was amazing more than $5,000 off of the KBB price, and the price on my trade in was also great! I will be recomending Brian and the Spitzer VW team to my family and friends in the future!! More
I went to the Spitzer Amherst Volkswagen to comparison shop for a vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted by a salesperson within minutes. Bill Burke made my visit much more than a fact finding expedition shop for a vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted by a salesperson within minutes. Bill Burke made my visit much more than a fact finding expedition, he was helpfull, knowledgable and let me make my decisions. He was versed not only in what his products offered but how they compared to the competition, able to show me where the value was in my prospecting. I was treated with respect by everyone I came in contact with at the dealership and made to feel that my questions and situation were their primary focus. The team worked with me irrespective of whose 'client' I was. I was impressed with the attention to service and focus on creating a bond with clients. So much so that I chose to select a new vehicle while I was on the lot. Bill made a point of showing me my options and giving me the best value for my situation while building a relationship and bond of trust. Chris and Bill worked out the paperwork quickly and put me in a beautiful vehicle that I will enjoy for years. I will make it a point of refering all my personal and professional friends and aquaintances to the Spitzer Amherst Volkswagen dealership, Bill Burke and Chris Olejko in particular, who are in the market for a new or used vehicle.
