Each person treats the customer as an individual and makes the customer feel like their needs and desires are being individually addressed. The drawback to their "up-front" pricing model is that there is very little room for any form of give-and-take exchange when you actually sit down to work out a deal. You have to push very hard (or be extremely blunt in your refusal to accept their firm stance) in order to get anywhere respectable in the negotiations. More

Jeff Posey, my salesperson, had a very kind, authentic disposition that really eased my first-time-leasing anxiety and made my experience memorable. Steve Allen was also great to work with! Mr. Allen helped me get a better insurance rate and really worked hard to get my monthly payments where I needed them to be. Before coming to Spitzer, I had searched for over a month at numerous lots and dealerships. I'm glad I held out and made it to Spitzer :) ...and I've been telling everyone who will listen about my experience. More

Erica quote a price on an email and then went on to change it with no explanation after I checked out the car in person. I had an offer from another dealer ...much lesser and she wanted to see it. Ofcourse I cropped the image because I dont want her to screw my other dealer's offer and she came back with questions on the authenticity of the document I sent!!! That's just mind blowing! The in-store sales person was much much better to deal with. I am taking my business elsewhere... More
Room for improvement. I was very close to buying a vehicle from this dealership, but I ended up going somewhere else in the end. When I was gathering information and pri I was very close to buying a vehicle from this dealership, but I ended up going somewhere else in the end. When I was gathering information and prices, I worked with the internet salesperson, Erika. I emailed a lot of dealers, and she was hands down the fastest person to reply to emails. I met with her regarding a vehicle and she was friendly in person. Though she was fast to reply, the emails were not always very clear compared to other dealers that I worked with. In addition, when given a price quote she combined two rebates which I knew in advance could not be combined and I had to correct her about this. Overall, though, Erika was good to work with. For budget reasons, I ended up having to switch trim levels. I called and spoke with Jared on the phone (Erika was off that day) to see if Spitzer would be able to price match another dealer. They didn't exactly match the price - they were still $250 more than the other dealer... which is basically what it would cost the other dealer to do a dealer trade. Of course, Spitzer had the color we wanted and refused to do a dealer trade with the other dealer - because I was "their" customer. While I was obviously not pleased, I can understand their rationale. So, we went out there to drive the vehicle. It was missing the antenna (???) and when I mentioned this the salesperson (Sam - Jared was busy with another customer) just took one off of another vehicle. We went on a test drive and I would like to compliment Sam for not talking during the test drive. So many times people talk your ear off and it was nice to just concentrate on driving the vehicle. Then, we went inside to discuss the price. We had done some research on the vehicle via TrueCar, but the price I was given over the phone was less than the TrueCar price. They identified us as "TrueCar Customers" and I reiterated that I wanted the price that was given over the phone. Finally, they came back with the phone price.... but, lo and behold, there was a never-before-discussed $199 VIN etching that was put onto the paperwork. I was told by the sales manager Steve 'they do this with all their vehicles.' Interesting, because when Erika gave me a price quote on a different vehicle she didn't include that (which I appreciate! thank you!) I asked him to take it off and he did. By the way, did you know you can buy a VIN etching kit online for $25!? Yep. Though we really wanted the car, we ended up walking out. Partly it was because we were not eligible for a rebate that we thought we would be eligible for - which is not Spitzer's fault - but partly it was because we weren't having the best experience. On my way out, I said 'have a good one' to Sam, who was hanging out with the other salespeople at a desk. No one tried to stop or attempt to fix the situation. To his credit, he did send us an email about 20 minutes later saying he would call on Monday to see if anything could be done about the rebate. We never heard back. We did speak briefly with the finance manager Ralph before leaving. He was courteous and answered all of our questions, despite the fact that we weren't going to complete the deal. I appreciate that. In summary, while there were some positive aspects to this dealership, there is certainly room for improvement. More

Very Pleasant Experience I was shopping for a new vehicle and had online quotes from this store and another place. I had actually been here 5 years ago when I ended up buying I was shopping for a new vehicle and had online quotes from this store and another place. I had actually been here 5 years ago when I ended up buying a Honda, but had been treated so well by the salesperson that I decided to give them another chance. My salesperson was originally Jared, who answered all my questions, took me on a test drive, let me drive, and answered more of my questions. I was armed with facts, figures and 2 trade-ins. The sales manager worked with him and located a few vehicles that might suit me, due to the scarcity of Highlander models everywhere. Thanks to a buying service, their prices were very competitive, the sales team, knowledgeable, so I decided to buy from them. Took most of the week to get my additional equipment installed and the vehicle ready. Picked it up from Dan, who was very friendly and was filling in for Jared, who was sick that day. Dan did his best to make sure I was satisfied as did their Sales Manager and their Finance Manager. whose name was Ralph. A complicated deal due to the logistics of getting 2 trades to the place and only being able to drive one at a time. I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase and the ability of the dealership to handle all of the details. These folks did an Excellent job! Toyota should be mighty glad these folks represent their brand and are willing to put in the time and training to sell it. More

I had ass 1 star is generous. They came out and told me the prices that I'd be paying for parts, including light bulbs and rear rotors, totaling $360. I had assumed that the rate for labor would be reasonable since I was there for less than an hour. It only took them about a half hour to replace the parts. I was charged over $300 for labor. As the cashier explained it, they charge a flat fee for each job: $105 for the rotors, around $105 for the inspection and $105 for them to change some LIGHT BULBS. They weren't changing the high beams or anything; it was just a parking light and the two license plate lights. I feel pretty confident I could have figured those out myself. I had assumed that it would be a reasonable rate and that the lightbulbs wouldn't take more than a few minutes, so I let them do it. In the end I was hit with over $650. Next time I will take it to a smaller, more local mechanic. DON'T GO HERE. More
