My wife found a Sienna that she was interested in, we had been to several other Toyota dealers however haven’t found “The One” until now. However, we were unable to get anyone to work with us, we have 3 trad been to several other Toyota dealers however haven’t found “The One” until now. However, we were unable to get anyone to work with us, we have 3 trade offers of a certain amount and Spitzer could not get close to our previous trade offers. They cited multiple false claims of issues with our current vehicle to my wife as a reason however when I later tried to have a conversation with them about this, they, meaning the sales managers, wouldn’t even come over to speak with me. When I walked over to thank the Salesman for his time because he really was great. The issue is 100% with a sale manager named Jason, and another who never introduced himself. He just let me know that they sell enough cars there and don’t need my business, in not so many or exact words. I’ve purchased many cars over the years, personally or business, and this was the first time I didn’t feel like the salesman wanted to sell me something. It was the opposite, I couldn’t get them to even talk to me and answer my questions. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. More
Last week, James Thomas did a great job of checking in my car to get the annual inspection stickers. When he showed me the actual air filter which they recommended be changed (which was filthy, being the original from 8 years ago), I commented that for sure I wanted that changed, because I was concerned about my lung health. James was very upfront to explain that this was the engine filter, and that the cabin air filter is what cleans the inside air, and he said they checked and it was still good (it had been replaced at a previous service visit). James Thomas made me feel good about this experience, and I will definitely return to Spitzer for future maintenance & service - he's a professional with a kind and caring personality. Took 2022 Rav hybrid in for 30k mile service last weekand discussed fraying drivers seat. James Thomas immediately ordered the covers. Took it back this week to have them installed.
