No sales pitches here, which I greatly appreciated. Zakiyyah listened first, noted what I was looking for, and the amount I wanted to pay and she was off and running. They had exactly what I was looking for and after some negotiation with Adam, I drove off with my new vehicle the same day. No hassles, no 'spending the day at the dealership' to get my car. Just business. Compared to my last experience with another dealership - night and day. I would recommend Spitzer Kia to anyone, any day. They went above and beyond and continue to do so even when I went back to get my plates. It was after work, and I did not want to get stuck in traffic so I was passing up the offer to have them put my plates on. Additional kudos to Andrew and Jim - Two minutes flat, the plates were on and I was back on the road. Like I said - this is a TEAM. Hats off to you all and THANK YOU!! More
Genuine Sales Experience Car buying (negotiating?) isn't always something one relishes doing on a free Saturday....especially one as cold, rainy and nasty as it was here in Cl Car buying (negotiating?) isn't always something one relishes doing on a free Saturday....especially one as cold, rainy and nasty as it was here in Cleveland recently. But our recent experience at Spitzer Kia on that particular Saturday was enough to renew one's faith in the process. Our Sales Associate, Rich Jaenke, was able to forge an immediate bond with my wife and I with an approach that was as courteous, professional, knowlegable and 'genuine' as we've ever found in someone in his position. He pocessed a 'soft-spoken' quality (and I know, this desciption isn't always one used to describe car salesmen) that put us at ease. We felt extremely comfortable talking with him both about our car needs and budget considerations. Rich went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction and troubleshhoot a couple of issues for my wife with respect to the car's interior. All in all, a stellar committment to Customer Service. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation. More
Epitome of the stereotypical sleazy car dealership. Let's start with the car. I purchased a used vehicle here because I was looking for something fairly difficult to find and was able to locate a used e Let's start with the car. I purchased a used vehicle here because I was looking for something fairly difficult to find and was able to locate a used example at this dealership that had relatively low miles for it's age after doing a rather extensive search. The dealership went out of their way to make a minimum effort to make said vehicle fit to drive. New tires were badly needed, yet only two were replaced and with the cheapest generic option available. I later found out that the AWD system in the vehicle could be damaged if tires of different types or diameters were used. Because the dealership used generic tires, I was unable to find suitable replacements and had to buy four new tires. If that wasn't bad enough, I later found out that two of the vehicle's oxygen sensors were faulty. One of the items in the list of repairs that were made before my purchase read thusly: "Check engine light on - Corrected." Dollars to donuts, they reset the car's computer and called it a day instead of spending $30 on replacement parts. Moving on to the finance department... My first piece of advice is to make a point to negotiate on the final cost of the purchase and not the monthly payment. The sleazeballs at this dealership will do their best to sneak things like extended warranties and insanely high "document fees" into your purchase. Do not, by any means sign any papers until you have discussed every line item listed in the final purchase price, because you will spend THOUSANDS of dollars on things that you do not want or need. More
