My father recommended Spitzer and Will Pickens due to his great dealing with them. So I took his advice and they were great! I will definatly recommend them to family and friends! My father in law retired from GM Lordstown and was glad to hear we were treated so well, he also will refer friends looking to buy to Spitzer. I had an appointment to have a transmission leak fixed at 8:30 am was told this would take about one and a half hours to complete. At about 10:30 am I was told they were having trouble getting the right o at 8:30 am was told this would take about one and a half hours to complete. At about 10:30 am I was told they were having trouble getting the right oil and they were on there way with the oil they would need it should be done around 12 noon. Then at about 1:30 pm was told they are still on road getting the oil then at 3:00 pm was told they were getting me a rental car at 3:30pm rental finally showed up. I thought the reson you make an appointment is so you can be prepared to do the job!!!!!! I had 7 Hrs wasted sitting there and was told atleast once they were on ther way with the oil witch was a lie and my 7 hours got me a coupon for a free oil change well I will never step foot back in spitzers again an oil change for you not being prepaired!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on. More
December 2011 Went to Spitzer to lease a December 2011 Went to Spitzer to lease a vehicle....long story short: Sales Rep...Trevor, extremely nice and reason I did not return vehicle wit December 2011 Went to Spitzer to lease a vehicle....long story short: Sales Rep...Trevor, extremely nice and reason I did not return vehicle within 3 day Ohio limit Experience: We purchased the vehicle on a Monday and was told they would install DVD and bring to our house later in the evening. The car showed up several hours later than we were told (not detailed) , but again we were happy the car was being delivered. The DVD player had static when the audio was played and grease spots were present on the seats. The car remained overnight with us...Spitzer sent someone out to try to clean the seats the next day...however, no luck...vehicle back to dealership....the car remained there for 5 days until we received it on Saturday as the correct parts were not ordered during the week. Spitzer did step and provide a replacement vehicle, but the reason I am writing this is for the buyer to beware how shady this place is....my wife and I specifically asked if we can move our payments back a week or 2 later and the Finance mgr stated yes, that ALLY will move the due date that free of charge (1)time. Well, that was not the case as ALLY stated there is a $360 fee for this to be done. I simply would have waited 2 weeks to lease the vehicle, but again was mislead and certainly lied to. So, again my overall experience was that this dealership is eager to make the sell.....customer service great (Trevor)....their work was pretty bad as the vehicle was brought to me not detailed, grease spots and static on the DVD player audio....not to mention with 112 extra miles than what we signed the lease papers with. Again...my main concern is how a finance mgr can mislead customers. My wife and I are fortunately in a position that we can make this payment no matter where it falls during the month, but others may not. More
