Bought a used car from out of town. Great experience! I live in the Chicago area and found a great deal on a used car at Spitzer (a comparable car would have been around $1,500+ more in my area). They made it easy for me to close the deal and team member, Barry Gonis, went out of his way to pick me up from the train station in Cleveland on an early Saturday morning and drive me an hour back to the dealership. We had an enjoyable conversation the whole way and stopped for breakfast at the local Korner Restaurant (the homemade biscuits and gravy are fantastic) while we waited for the finance guy, Chip, to arrive at the dealership. At the dealership, I was handed over to Carol, who helped me out with some of the paperwork and then gave me an overview of some of the car's advanced functions. This is the first car I've owned with a touchscreen and she was able to tech me how to navigate the controls, pair a bluetooth device, and execute a voice-activated call. I worked with Chip Keil to settle the finances and he was able to get me a rate that was about 0.5% better than my bank was offering me. After about an hour of paperwork I was ready to go. Overall, the staff at Spitzer were knowledgeable and professional every way. Barry Gonis, in particular, exceeded my expectations with his level of customer service and the time that I spent with him, outside of the dealership, painted a picture of a hard-working family man that I could trust. Of course, the primary concern of any car search is whether or not a dealer has your car at your price. That said, if you ever find your car at your price at Spitzer, you should not hesitate to contact them. Even if you are from out of town, Barry and his team will "go the extra mile" to accommodate you and get the deal done. More
