I had scheduled an airbag recall appointment several weeks ago to ensure the parts were available. When I arrived at the dealership, I added an oil change onto my visit. After two hours of waiting, they completed the oil change, gave me a list of other recommended services needed totaling over $2,000 and then told me the recall part was not in and I would need to come back in 1-2 weeks. No one called me prior to my appointment to tell me the part was not in and the service representative did not inform me that the part was not in when I arrived at 8 am. This was a waste of my time and I was extremely frustrated with the lack of communication. I honestly felt like I was being taken advantage of. Very disappointing as we purchased our vehicle at this location in 2014 and have had service done there for years. After all of this I had to pay in full for the oil change (zero discounts offered). Quick to get an appointment and service, Good work and no pressure with upselling service offerings. Wasbkeptninformed and was provided a detailed report of the overall health of my vehicle. Very expensive to have work done at any dealership now. And was shocked at the bill. I will need to find an independent repair shop going forward. Another concern is the fee for credit card payments via the service center. You would think they would have their own payment systems and avoiding the fees altogether. Remember to take cash or plan on paying another 5% of the total bill. More
