The 2008 IS 250 was traded in yesterday and our service department completed a safety check on the vehicle this morning. Upon check out the 2008 IS 250 was deemed unsafe to sell and marked for wholesale. When the customer reached out to our dealership today we were straight forward and explained to the customer that the vehicle is not available for sale due to safety concerns. I didn't think I would have to apologize to a customer for being honest and upfront. Thank you for your time and please be safe.

Nice try... you never said that... you said it was a wholesale car... but it was traded yesterday and already posted on at least two platforms for sale? You said it was listed by mistake... But it was not inspected yet? Site said schedule a test drive... Trade in comes in? Inspect it... Decide if it is worth it to trade. Then do the “full inspection” But the last thing you should do is list it anywhere for sale... then say whoops it’s a wholesale... after getting real feedback... then say we are protecting the buyer from a crappy car... By the way... The car was at Plaza over 30 times for service or a sale... even after 2 reported accidents? The car was serviced by the dealership and sent back out... so you are very familiar with this car... your car fax shows this all to be true... And don’t act like you were looking out for me... and I over reacted and you did not really screw up... Just be up front and don’t list it anywhere until you are absolutely ready to sell it... That would make me respect you... Again... all dealerships are the same... “ACT” like they care...
