My wife and I (John Cowan) were very pleased with the friendly, professional salesmanship that we received. There was no pressure, questions were answered, the entire sales staff starting with Stephen, t friendly, professional salesmanship that we received. There was no pressure, questions were answered, the entire sales staff starting with Stephen, the sales associate who walked us thru the selction process, the other associates who explained some of the operating features of the vehicle and David who explained and reviewed all the paperwork prior to signing, all were very courteous and knowdlegable. Stopped by the dealer to look at a 2010 Toyota Avalon. John already had the vehicle pulled up under the overhang for me to look at. I received a great price on my trade in and the Toyota was exactly what John already had the vehicle pulled up under the overhang for me to look at. I walked into the dealer and said I wanted to purchase a new gs in the next 30 days and told them I would trade-in a(2010 ISC). I called back two weeks later. They sent me an email and said they had sever new gs in the next 30 days and told them I would trade-in a(2010 ISC). I called back two weeks later. They sent me an email and said they had several new GS's in stock and wanted my trade in. I called back the sales manager who sent the email and he said "who are you." I asked him for an estimate on my trade-in. Two weeks later I got a call from non sales woman asking if I had any questions. I told her I needed the estimate. No response for two weeks when the used car sales manager called. He said his boss told him to call but he didn't know my name or details of my request. i purchased from another St. louis dealer. I visit this dealership on many occasions over the past year looking to buy a specific used Lexus. The experience was so great it ultimately lead to the new Lexus I purchased. Mr. Wartts was very professional, patient and low-pressure. We made several trips to the dealership and got very nice treatment every time. This dealership in general doesn't seem to communicate well. The service received was sub-par. The car was taken in for diagnosis & repair. One part price was misquoted to the tune of several hundred well. The service received was sub-par. The car was taken in for diagnosis & repair. One part price was misquoted to the tune of several hundred dollars. In addition, after the car was in the shop, the labor cost to perform the service increased from $1009.00 to $1400.00. (No additional services beyond the initial quote were performed) After speaking with the service manager, I was told the original quote would be honored, however when the final service bill was presented, an additional hour of labor had been charged. The information on the service bill was misdocumented. When I asked why some things had been done to the car based upon the service record, I was told they weren't really performed, even though the ticket stated they had been. Even though I asked that the replaced parts to returned to me and I was assured they would be, when I picked up the car the old parts were no where to be found. A service that was supposed to happen didn't. When I asked why I was told that it was beter not to do the service as the seal was dry and not leaking even though the car has high miles. (replacement of rear main seal) I had to return with the car 4 different times to have the interior console reinstalled properly. It was scratched by the tech. The service manager's attitude was lacidazical at best. Although I voiced my concerns, they were not taked seriously. I was told to just relax. The car failed a few hundred miles later. When I questioned the repair, I was told three different techs worked on the car. No one could answer my questions adequately. The dealership offered little help for misdiagnosis and poor repair. While the general manager ended up helping with cost of appropriate repair, it was a long struggle that others should avoid. The car was taken to a different dealership for corrective repairs. More
