Fabulous dealership with great, client-focused employees and excellent deals. We initially approached them because their prices were by far the most competitive (we were open to all sorts of makes and model and excellent deals. They actually listen to what your needs are and then explain in plain English what options they can provide in order to meet those needs. They treat you like an intelligent person and they'll treat you with respect. They also show excellent respect for your time and personal needs (one of the sales people was willing to drive me all the way home in order to get some documents because he knew that I had small children and that it would be a huge hassle for my husband to have to bring the kids out to the dealership). They don't act like the stereotypical "car salesman" and they don't try to sell you something that you don't want or need. Highly recommend. More

Working with Speedcraft is always an enjoyable experience whether I'm buying new (my 1st new car from them was a brand new 1982 Rabbitt diesel and my last purchase from Speedcraft was a perfect '09 Jetta) or whether I'm buying new (my 1st new car from them was a brand new 1982 Rabbitt diesel and my last purchase from Speedcraft was a perfect '09 Jetta) or making the most convenient appointments for service. The staff rates with any VW dealership from here to Florida and is always a major reason for us when auto service is required....being laocated here in Southern RI is also a big draw. More

I recently purchased my '01 Audi A4 from Speedcraft, after a 6 + month search for the perfect vehicle. While I live in NY and was cautious after several long distance trips to view potential cars, Richa after a 6 + month search for the perfect vehicle. While I live in NY and was cautious after several long distance trips to view potential cars, Richard, Carrie, and the rest of the staff, at Speedcraft were very helpful, accommodating and responsive (ie: I got a response within half an hour of writing them with inquiries about the car and the next business day I have a video walk around of the A4 plus service documentation.) Once the deposit was down they helped out with all the necessary paperwork and bushwhacking through multiple state/insurance bureaucracy. Shortly thereafter I took the trip over and met with James who got everything finalized. With questions answered and transaction completed, I was on my way home having a lot of fun and very satisfied. My only misgiving about the whole process is that they are not located nearer to me, as I would happily go to them for any and all service, first rate! I would, and do, highly recommend them to anybody. More

I was recently in the market for a NEW but USED car for myself. I had been putting it off for some time because I really don't like going to a dealership. We've all heard the stories of the pressure and ha myself. I had been putting it off for some time because I really don't like going to a dealership. We've all heard the stories of the pressure and haggling you get when you go. BUT, WOW was this a GREAT experience. I told Tom (sales) that I was just looking. He was awesome-just let me look around and asked if I had any questions. Tom answered the questions I had and that was it, no pressure. I then tried another approach to see if I was getting the real deal-Honesty. I sent an email from their website-www.speedcraftvw.com and again I was greeted with great service via an email from Richard who does their internet sales. I told him my situation and how I wanted to handle looking and purchasing a car. He listened and respected my wishes and then the deal was almost done. So now I needed to deal with the GM-James who is wearing a few hats but found the time to call or emailing me to keep me informed. So within 3 days - I went to get the car and sign the paperwork, I felt like I was the only one in the dealership but I wasn't. SO, if you are in the market for a car, you really need to contact SpeedcraftVW because it was just a great experience and I will definitely go back and tell folks. My husband and I have bought many cars over the years at Speedcraft and it is the only place I would go. The friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable people makes us feel very comfortable.
