“NEVER felt so violated before going to Dave Edwards Toyota" I took my car to Dave Edwards Toyota May 19, 2020 for service to have the brake (stop) switch changed. I had checked fuses, light bulbs, etc Toyota" I took my car to Dave Edwards Toyota May 19, 2020 for service to have the brake (stop) switch changed. I had checked fuses, light bulbs, etc the night before with the help of an auto parts employee and all were good. I assumed it was the stop switch assembly and it turned out to be just that! I could purchase the part from an auto parts store for $18.00 but Dave Edwards Toyota charged me $98.00 for the part and $115.00 for labor. Chelsea called and told me the part had to be ordered and would be here May 20th. Chelsea gave me a price of two hundred and something dollars. I mentioned this seemed awfully expensive as the part is under $20.00. Chelsea told me the part was $98.00. If I knew how to do it myself, I would have done it. I needed to have the repair done so I was at their mercy! I received a call this morning (May 20) and was told the car was finished and they had to change the stop light bulbs as they were blown. Amazing they were fine the night before! I could purchase 2 bulbs for under $10.00 but was charged $22.00 for 2 bulbs. To top it off, I was charged $32.00 labor to replace the bulbs. That's $54.00 to replace 2 brake light bulbs! That equates to 15-20 minutes labor to change two bulbs. I'm not a mechanic but could change the bulbs myself in under 3 minutes! I had discussions with the New and Used car Sales Managers previously about purchasing a car in the next few months but after this situation, I will never return to Dave Edwards Toyota for service or to purchase a car after being taken advantage of! This treatment is a totally unacceptable way to treat a customer! More

Stuck at Sam’s..Friday night during COVID-19 mitigation. Toyota highlander won’t start... AAA arrived with a truck already on the bed because we just thought it we just needed to start... Called at 4:30... Toyota highlander won’t start... AAA arrived with a truck already on the bed because we just thought it we just needed to start... Called at 4:30... No problem will text who we use as a tow truck company and will look at it and call you tomorrow morning. We really did just need a battery but there were all sorts of things that needed to be fixed that would’ve caused major problems down the road. Obviously we are not a mechanical couple. No problem we are in good hands with Dave Edwards. They even had a tire sale and I drive practically a new car. More
