I bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited from Spartanburg Dodge back in November. I could not be happier with my Jeep, i absolutely love it, and the service i received from both the sales and management staf Dodge back in November. I could not be happier with my Jeep, i absolutely love it, and the service i received from both the sales and management staff was outstanding. As a single, young, female shopping for a car, i have to admit i was a little bit scared of the typical car salesman coming out to rip me off, but i was treated with respect and got a GREAT deal. I bought a 2007 Caliber back in June of 2006 from here, and although i didn't have a bad experience back then, i have to say the new management team was just amazing. More
This is the worse dealer I have ever dealt with. After buying a truck, they lost my paperwork 3 times and I had to go back 3 times. They must have lost it a fourth time because they just made up addresses buying a truck, they lost my paperwork 3 times and I had to go back 3 times. They must have lost it a fourth time because they just made up addresses and phone numbers. I was lucky the bank managed to track me down by my name. Two more days and it would have been a strike against my credit. Employees seem to change weekly. They overcharged me for a clutch they fixed that went out after 18,000 miles ($2000). They admitted they overcharged but would not reimburse. There attitude was: too bad. More
I have had two issues with this dealer. I bought a used 2007 Jeep SRT8 in Oct. 2007. When I bought the car the GM(general manager) offered a service plan for oil changes for the first year/12000 miles for 2007 Jeep SRT8 in Oct. 2007. When I bought the car the GM(general manager) offered a service plan for oil changes for the first year/12000 miles for $24.95. I also bought an extened service plan from them to cover things after the 3 year/36000 mile factory warranty was up. Was told if I had to bring the Jeep in for any repair I would get a loaner free. I had heard bad things about this dealer before. But they seemed to sound like they where doing better. OK first issue: 9000 miles on the Jeep and had a motor mount failure. Took the tech for a ride, he was able to find it after a couple hours. Said they didn't have the part and didn't know when they would get it. This was on a Friday. So I asked about the loaner, sevice manager said he couldn't give me one because it was only an hour and a half fix. So I had to go to the new GM and ask about the loaner. Acted like I was lying about what I was told by the last GM. So after about an hour they finially gave me a loaner. I won't talk about the rental car place, that's another story. They kept my Jeep for a week. Was I supposed to go with out a car for a week? Second Issue: remember the oil service agreement I mentioned earlier? The one I have in writting! Well had the first two oil changes done for the $24.95 as in the agreement. So I go to get the 3rd oil change on 7-18-08. Was charged $66.08. When I asked the new sevice manager why, he said because it was an SRT and used synthetic oil he couldn't do it for $24.95. Told him I had two already done for $24.95, didn't matter that was a mistake. When I told them I would get in touch with the Better Business Bureau, Chrysler, and the local news team they came back and said they would give me my next oil change for $49. Still not the $24.95 as per my contract. If I where you I would run from this dealership as fast as you can. More
No-one went over our warranty, they lied about the rebate, my pay-off was 350.00 dollars less then what they put on the contract, my husband didn't get the discount that he suppose to get for his job, rebate, my pay-off was 350.00 dollars less then what they put on the contract, my husband didn't get the discount that he suppose to get for his job, the other finance company wasn't notified that we had traded the van, so they drafted a payment for the other car that we no longer owned, and we didn't get the new car detailed even when we had to go back and re-sign papers. I wanted the Dodge Durango but we was told that they coulldn't get if finance and it was way cheaper then the vehicle we purchased. If it was possible i would take this new vehicle back to the lot and get my van back. I will never purchase or recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I went there to purchase a 2006 Dodge Durango and the financial manager stated that we couldn't get that but we could get an 2006 jeep cherokee he stated that the rebate was more on the jeep which was a financial manager stated that we couldn't get that but we could get an 2006 jeep cherokee he stated that the rebate was more on the jeep which was a Lie the Durango had a better rebate and would've been cheaper. My husband suppose to got a discount because of the company he work for but we was told that their discount was better that was another Lie. We purchased the vehicle on 2/19 the car i traded payment was due on the 30th and we was told that they would take car of this but then when we went back on the 23rd because they had gotten someone else to finance the car so we had to re-sign some papers then i asked him have they contacted citifinancial about the car we traded and then he inform us that we had to call them and informed them that we had traded the car and not to draft that payment. I called citifinacial 1st thing Monday morning and they informed me that they couldn't stop the draft because they needed 5 days notice and they drafted that payment for a car we no longer owned on that Wednesday. My husband called Josh(Finance Manager) and informed him that they was going to draft that payment and told my husband that he couldn't do anything about that we would have to wait on them to send us that payment back. Also, my pay-off balance was 300.00 less then what was put on the paper. So i informed him about that then he stated that the company will mail us the difference of that as well. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchase from this location. No-one went over our Warranty on this vehicle and we didn't even get it detailed. We asked the finance manager about these issues and stated that all this is the saleperson responsibility. He then left us standing out in the sale area waiting on the saleperson who was out with some other customer, so we got tired of waiting and left. I will never recommend or purchase another vehicle from this location again. If it was all possible i would return this vehicle. More
This dealership is by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with and they call themselves a FIVE STAR DEALERSHIP! They sell LEMONS and tell lies to their customers. Their customer service skills are ever dealt with and they call themselves a FIVE STAR DEALERSHIP! They sell LEMONS and tell lies to their customers. Their customer service skills are below a 1 scale and their service department knows nothing when it comes to cars! I would never recommend them and if people ask me about my car I let them know ow much of a LEMON it is and how they treated us there! More
