The staff at the Spartanburg Dodge dealership are very friendly and professional. I have never had such a "hassel free" experience buying a car new or used. I was impressed with the amount of information friendly and professional. I have never had such a "hassel free" experience buying a car new or used. I was impressed with the amount of information provided online at cars.com which facilitated extensive research in the privacy of my own home. From my first phone contact with William Bryant to my door greeting and test drive with Ridge Gault all thway to closing the business end with Jamie Wise, I enjoyed the entire experience. More
Mech Damaged my Truck while in shop bay. Lied about it and refused to pay for. Took over 3 hours to change 2 spark plugs. What they did was run off the repair rack. Pulled my truck back in the service bay when done up to the pull-up door so I could not see it when I left. More

My husband did all his research and visited several different dealers. Spartanburg Dodge had quite a good offer on a 2011 Ram. We went back to them with a counter offer for that 2011 to included the running boards and bed liner. They came back with; that they could get same car that had everything we were looking for plus the sport's performance hood, which we could care less about. My husband specifically asked if it was the same package including the media, desired gear ratio and such, to whom which they responded yes. We checked with some other dealers to see if they could match or top the offer and they were unable to. The next step was to put a $1,000 deposit on the vehicle to get it to the dealership. After the deposit we received a call from another dealer saying that there were no blue 2011 Ram Sports in the area only a 2010.Calling back Spartanburg to ask about the year it indeed turned out to be a 2010, once again we asked if everything was the same and the response was yes. We then asked them to produce the window sticker and send it to us. For some reason they could not email us the window sticker. Finally at 9:00 pm that night they were able to read off the window sticker to us, and guess what it was drastically different. Gear ratio not the same, didn’t include the Mygig media package, and no remote start. They refused to give us our $1,000 deposit back even though we were lied too. We went to the dealership to work this out with the manager and such. The said they would add the mygig, and my husband came to terms with the gear ratio. We were also in a situation to buy the car or loss $1,000. They agreed to put the media package on to make it just like the 2011. To make a long story short, we finally got the Mygig in the car, and guess what is doesn’t have the Sirus or Bluetooth capabilities. We called them back up and they said it was just installed wrong. We drove an hour and a half out of the way, for them to say they must have ordered the wrong part. Now we have to pay for the sirus and Bluetooth on our dime. Does that make sense? Basically they are your typically sleazy salesmans even the manger, who say they will deliver something and don’t. More
I have been bringing my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel to Kim for over 247,000 miles and she and the service department has done a great job keeping my truck serviced and on the road. Recently, I decided to have for over 247,000 miles and she and the service department has done a great job keeping my truck serviced and on the road. Recently, I decided to have new injectors put in as one of them was starting to show signs of failing. Once the new set was installed they tested the injectors and found that one was slightly low on its performance (90%). They did not have to tell me this but they did as it was the right and ethical thing to do. I agreed to drive it for a while to see if it would clean up. It did not so I called them and brought it back to have the one injector replaced. They were good at accomodating my schedule and getting me in and back out on the road within a couple of hours - with oil change. Now this is the cool part - the mechanic Andy was kind enough to show me the computer reading with the new injector installed. All injectors were performing 99%-102%. As for the mechanics go; I always ask for either Byran or Andy as they know diesels and really do a fine job! I will not take my truck anywhere else because of these three people (Kim, Andy, and Bryan). It's great to work with these folks because they will talk to you and explain what the issues are or solutions available. They go the extra steps to get you taken care of. If you visit their Service Department and Kim is not available don't hesitate to work with Pam or April as they will be happy to work with you and they are good people, besides I need Kim available when I come in and if everyone is requesting her then I will have to wait... Now the New Car Sales Department is another story. Please do not base your experience with their New Car Sales Department to be what you will experience with their Service Department. Their Service Department is OUTSTANDING!! and I think that their New Car Sales Department could take some notes from their Service Department and if they did then they would do better as a company overall. Give their Service Department your business you'll be happy that you did! More
From the time I bought my car, I told various Dodge dealerships that there was something wrong with the transmission. They all waived me off and told me they could not find anything. After three year dealerships that there was something wrong with the transmission. They all waived me off and told me they could not find anything. After three years of recurring issues that according to Dodge dealerships were nothing, the car actually begin to lurch when sitting still. So we took it to Spartanburg Dodge. Initially they AGAIN said there was nothing wrong. My husband had to take time off work to go up there and prove to them there was a problem. After finally conceding there was a problem, they said they would fix it under the powertrain warranty. Thank goodness for the maker's warranty because these guys treat their customer horrible on everything else! They would not give me a replacement car even though I had a family crisis come up and had no way of getting there. They stated that their company doesn't give loaner cars anymore. I could understand that if this is something I had done to the car but it was DODGE FAULTY EQUIPMENT and under WARRANTY. Didn't matter to Spartanburg Dodge though. Oh they were polite in their delivery of the bad news but it is bad customer service to not provide replacement transportation for a factory defect. They did not inform us until THREE DAYS LATER that they did not have the parts to even BEGIN to fix it. If I had known that, I would have gotten my car so that I could dealt with my family emergency instead of being helpless! Long story short, a WEEK AND A HALF LATER I finally got my car back. Is it working right, I don't know. I quite frankly am too angry with this dealership. This has made me want to sell that car and NEVER buy another Dodge or suggest ANYONE buy a Dodge. ESPECIALLY IF IT MEANS BUYING IT AT SPARTANBURG DODGE. This dealership has left me with a bad taste for the Dodge name in general. On top of this whole transmission fiesco, they offered us a "special" package oil change when we initially dropped off the car for four oil changes. Of course, at the time I did not realize how bad this would turn out. After seeing how they treat their customers I will NEVER take that car back to them. I called and have left a message to request that they reprocess the invoice with one oil change instead of the "special" package and give us back the difference due to the fact that we will NEVER use their dealership again. I don't have high expectations that their customer service will be any better on this though! They kept a car three days, knowing it was a severe inconvenience to their customer, without the parts to even fix it and then took a total of a week and two days to fix it. Stay away from Spartanburg Dodge. If you must buy or repair a Dodge, take it somewhere else. They are just not worth the hassle. I will never again set foot on this dealership lot and until the end of my days will always recommend that people stay away from this dealership. More
My 08 Jeep would not start in my driveway and I was not sure what to do, so I called Spartanburg Jeep and was greeted warmly by Kim in service. She checked my warranty via my vin number and gave me the in sure what to do, so I called Spartanburg Jeep and was greeted warmly by Kim in service. She checked my warranty via my vin number and gave me the info to call a tow service. When they got the vehicle, they could not find anything wrong with it. Kim kept in touch with me regarding what was going on, and Eric in service gave me some pointers to deal with this problem if it ever happens again. I was pleasantly surprised that they did not try to sell me something I did not need in the interest of making it seem like they found something wrong! They also took care of my oil change for a fraction of the price of the local mechanic I had been using. I was very impressed with the quick, friendly, professional service we got at Spartanburg Jeep and look forward to dealing with them exclusively in the future. Thanks! More
I was new to this dealership, having just purchased a previously owned Chrysler van from an individual. So I decided to drop by, introduce myself to the Service Manager and discuss using them. I was gr previously owned Chrysler van from an individual. So I decided to drop by, introduce myself to the Service Manager and discuss using them. I was greeted warmly, asked to come into his office and chat about my van. He introduced me to April, the service rep. Everyone here was great. They answered all my questions and called to make sure I was pleased. This is a class act. More

After visiting with Big O Dodge and feeling that something was wrong with the deal they were working up for me: Specifically - price of vehicle and down payment with the promised finance rate did something was wrong with the deal they were working up for me: Specifically - price of vehicle and down payment with the promised finance rate didnt mesh the montly payment I emailed out to 4 Dodge dealerships letting them know I was looking for a specific truck, willing to pay X.XX down and what I wanted for monthly payment. The first dealership to respond was Spartanburg Dodge. Not only did they respond I was told immediately "We want your business", that was refreshing. We started working the deal through text messaging, phone calls while I was at work and when I got to the dealership after work they were ready to roll with the already promised lower percentage rate, down payment, more truck and the right monthly payment! Now that's what I call service! Point blank, I hope Dodge, Chrysler and or Jeep continue to make excellent vehicles so I never have to shop any where else other than Spartanburg Dodge. So if your reading this and your about to visit the Spartanburg Dodge dealership, please, tell MO, Josh and Will that I said Hello and I look forward to doing business with them again. Eric More
We came from Georgia for a Chrysler Pacifica. We were told the vehicle we bought was completely checked and had any problems fixed. We have had the car less than a year and three tires are completely wo told the vehicle we bought was completely checked and had any problems fixed. We have had the car less than a year and three tires are completely worn, brakes and roters need to be replaced. I drive to work and back, I am a very safe driver, these things should have been replaced before selling them, because these are unsafe for new owners. Because it was night, we could not have it looked at by service personnel. Why would someone only replace one tire before selling? I could not look at the brakes, but would have hoped that the dealership would have been honest about the fact that they were fine. If they were fine, I should not have to be replacing them right now! I guess I should have insisted on having it checked out before buying, but since we had to drive so far and so late at night we didn't. Do not buy a used car from here without having a mechanic look at it first! More
