Brian helped us right away. He got an idea of what we were looking for and began giving us price estimates and what he could do for us. I was in the market for a used vehicle, I had visited at least 15 dealerships in the last 2 weeks....This was the only dealership that had not detailed their used inventory. I couldn't believe the condition least 15 dealerships in the last 2 weeks....This was the only dealership that had not detailed their used inventory. I couldn't believe the condition of some of the used vehicles. Staff was not helpful on the features or pricing of the vehicle I inquired about. Very unprofessional....lack of knowledge was unbelievably substandard to any of the other dealerships I have visited in the last few weeks. I had some interest in a particular vehicle, but the sales "consultant" couldn't answer basic questions about the vehicle's features (which was a used CHRYSLER). When we inquired about pricing he quoted us $1000.00 more than the vehicle was listed for on their website. I guess they thought I was an uneducated fool, but little to their knowledge, I have conducted lots of research and was very educated in the vehicle I was seeking. I was shocked at the total lack of customer service and willingness to earn my business at this dealership. I read other negative reviews and decided to form my own opinion, that is why I visited. I will not be visiting this dealership again and I will advise others to not visit as well. The customer service experience turned me off so much, that I settled on my second choice at another dealer (where my business was greatly appreciated). If you want a personalized buying experience where you feel appreciated, this is NOT the dealership for you. More
I visited Spartanburg Dodge, Chryler Jeep a couple of years ago about a USED Dodge Charger. I was upfront and honest about my credit history which wasn't too good at the time. Of course with all salesp years ago about a USED Dodge Charger. I was upfront and honest about my credit history which wasn't too good at the time. Of course with all salespeople, they ask you about a payment you want to be at. I knew what I wanted to pay for a vehicle and not the payment! My credit of course came back with a high interest rate as expected. Therefore, I was told I could not get into the used vehicle but they wanted to show me the PERFECT car for me. I walked outside and her comes the salesperson in a brand new Charger. I looked at the sticker price and then asked about the payment...$500+...ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? That was not what I came looking for and it was quite ridiculous! They did not listen to what I wanted, it was about what they wanted and a sale! To xxxx with me the customer!!! I've never gone back to them since! I actually purchased my vehicle from a Dodge dealer in Greenville and it was worth the drive for me since I found someone that cared about what me, the customer, really wanted!! So a couple of days ago, I get a thing in the mail from Spartanburg Dodge. It was a "National Auto Clearinghouse" sweepstakes. It had several areas for you to scratch off to see if you're a winner. WEll, guess what? I'm a winner! SUPPOSEDLY, if you get the same number in a row (diagonally, straight accross or up & down) you win...WRONG!! I found out it's just a ploy to get you into their dealership! I want nothing Spartanburg Dodge has, trust me!! I will continue to take my business to Greenville! And too bad for Spartanburg Dodge because I'm currently looking at the 4-door Jeep Wranglers! I had a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser that had 245,000 miles on it and I love the dodge/chrysler products. But Spartanburg Dodge leaves a lot to be desired!!! Lousy, lousy dealership and people! More
We purchased a 2011 Dodge Caravan on 7/22/2011 the tire pressure light was on when we test drove the vehicle. We returned back to the dealer ship and the salesman said that he would take it around to the s pressure light was on when we test drove the vehicle. We returned back to the dealer ship and the salesman said that he would take it around to the service Department and get it fixed. So we departed in the van going back to the office about 40 miles away and the light came back on. So we contacted the dealership and told them that we would returned the van. So they had it for for about 3hrs and said it was fixed. Then we got in the van and was on our way back and right before getting i nto town the light came on again. So on Monday the lady who drives the Van contacted them and told them that the light was back on. The salesman told her that he would pick it up that evening and have it fixed so later that day he called her back and said that they would pickit up Tuesday morning. So Tuesday morning came and they send a person here to get the vehicle and take it back. But the lady who drove the van did not have a vehicle to drive and they would not let her drive the other vehicle that they drove here to get the Van so we had to get another vehicle for her to drive. Then when our caravan was returned we had to put gas in it that night so the lady coud dive it the next morning. More

They sold my 63 year old mother a 2005 convertable Mustang that leaks around the rear window. She noticed the rear seat was wet before the purchase. Antwon Dogget said, the car had just been detailed. Mustang that leaks around the rear window. She noticed the rear seat was wet before the purchase. Antwon Dogget said, the car had just been detailed. The top issue was metioned before the purchase and she was told that if there was a problem, the dealership would take care of it. We have visited this dealership four times, each time a different excuse. " We fixed the problem.(problem not fixed) We ran out of glue. Our manager has to approve the repair." I was even sent to a trim shop that the dealership does not use. After making a appointment for a Saturday morning,I was told by the service department that they do not do repairs to convertable tops. They told me that they did not know who at the dealership had attempted the repair. I was told that they would try Kappsi glass to do the repair and would call me on Monday. I am still waiting for a call seven days later. I even called them back nobody was available for me to talk to. I was thinking about buying a car for my wife at this dealership, not anymore. More

The cashier (I think her name was April) was very friendly and got me out quickly.Pam was at the pickup window with me and showed me where my vehicle was parked. This dealership has a great service team. While waiting for my diag,I watched them. They help each other out and laugh alot. They seem to like working at this service department. I will always bring my vehicle back to this shop. I will also recommend it highly to friends and family! Great job!! More
I have purchased 3 Dodge Rams from Spartanburg Dodge in the last 8 years. Unfortunately, my Salesman has retired since my current truck - but that is not the purpose of this feedback. I currently have the last 8 years. Unfortunately, my Salesman has retired since my current truck - but that is not the purpose of this feedback. I currently have a 2007 1/2 Dodge Ram Laramie 4X4 Long bed dually 6.7 Diesel. It is my "Baby" and driven every day. It has every option that was available in '07 from Dodge plus just about every after-market accessory available from Spartan Dodge or "After-Market" if not available from Dodge. I never buy "Extended Warranties" but with this being the first Diesel I have ever owned and the sizeable investment, I decided I was going to make an exception this time. Good Move. I bought the 7 year/100,000 Bumper to Bumper Plan. Recently, I noticed my A/C wasn't working. I don't know when it went out because it has been Winter. Also, one of the LED's on my EVIC Display was out. I drove to Spartan Dodge to see Pam Shively in the Service Department (If Pam is out, I leave. I only deal with Pam. She puts herself in the customer's position and works for you if someone wants to give you a "Hard Time", ie, the Insurance Underwriters who actually handle the Extended Warranty Coverage). Pam told me to review my truck completely, list anything additional I found wrong and call her for the appointment. She explained my Deductible applied EACH VISIT - NOT FOR EACH THING COVERED. I didn't know this and she saved me one deductible. Pam is the single biggest reason I come to Spartan Dodge, although there are other people who deserve credit. On this last visit, I was told that the "A/C Control Head" was turned down by the Insurer. Although I supposedly had Bumper to Bumper coverage, this item was not covered. It was the control panel on the dash that controls temperature, fan speed, Driver vs. passenger comfort, etc. I told Pam this was insane. The policy covered seals, compressor, clutch, etc. but nothing with "Buttons" on it!!?? Pam had called me to advise me of this glitch and suggested I call the warranty Company (She had already called them twice and been turned down)and see if I could escalate through their organization. I called but to no avail. I had already told Pam to take care of it and the bill was approximately $300.00 which I paid. When I got back to Spartan Dodge, Pam suggested I talk with the Credit Manager - Jay Harvey. Jay agreed with me and said this made no sense whatsoever. He said to give him a few minutes to get with "Doug" who now handles the Extended Warranties and 30 minutes later, I had a refund for the full amount - except for the deductible understandably. Jay and Doug are now another reason I'll stay with Spartan Dodge. Lastly, my mechanic was Mike Ware. Mike is a super guy and I'll be asking for Mike when I come in. This turned out to be a little more difficult than a normal A/C outage in that both the A/C Control Head AND the compressor went out separately, ie, Mike had the A/C working but when I got there, it had gone out again. Service is the main reason for my purchasing vehicles! Pam, Jay, Mike and Doug "Rock"!! And I'll continue going there. EL Boiling Springs, SC More
I had a bad experience with another dealership. I was there all day long and never got a straight answer on what the price of the vehicle would be never saw the actual car just a poster picture of it o there all day long and never got a straight answer on what the price of the vehicle would be never saw the actual car just a poster picture of it on the wall and felt that it was a total waste of time. I decided to go to Spartanburg Dodge and what a difference. The Salesman, General Manager, and Business Manager were all quick and efficient and I got exactly what I wanted in a vehicle in a timely manner that did not waste my time or theirs. I would recommend Spartanburg Dodge to anyone in the market for a new Vehicle. More
