Worth the drive for great selection and customer service We live in Gainesville & had been looking for weeks for a used BMW convertible as a fun/3rd car and quickly realized that most of the cars we found on We live in Gainesville & had been looking for weeks for a used BMW convertible as a fun/3rd car and quickly realized that most of the cars we found on-line matching our 'must haves' were in Tampa, Orlando, Jax or Daytona. So on the way to a friend's party in the Daytona area we decided to stop at Spanos as they always seem to have 3 to 6 BMWc's at any given time. A car we'd seen on-line and liked had just sold the day before (yes, it was still on their lot with a sold sign...not the "oh, that car was just sold"...and it remains on their website for months...gimmick some dealers pull), but they had just gotten in a beautiful low mileage 335is that my wife fell in love with immediately. Although more than I wanted to spend, we ended with an on-the-road price that was fair, especially with the model we'd really wanted, with every imaginable option. And - remember, this was a Sunday & we were on the way to a friend's house for a cookout...we left them with all of our info while they took care of all the paperwork and returned 4 hours later to sign and were on our way. Our salesperson, Jack Rabeaux, was great...showed us of the convertibles at the dealership - as was Tommy, who helped work a great deal - and ran to the store when my wife tried getting a drink and found the vending machine out of order. When we returned and took care of the paperwork with Dean, he was equally professional. Back in Gainesville that night, I was playing with the on-board computer and discovered it was calling for new rear breaks in 1000 miles. Called the next day - no argument, "when can you bring it in and we'll take care of it". Fortunately, it was a nice day for a top down drive and as they had also promised to mail us owners manuals, my wife made the drive and took care of both. More
