Bought my car in April and it took until late July to get it registered in NYS. After the long wait-they called and said I owed $459 additional fees--I wanted the plates so I paid and asked for an explanation of the fees. A week later the info was emailed--What a crock!!!! I had paid $425 in registration/transfer fees at the time of sale and knew there would be about $250 in additional sales tax to be paid at the end. So the tax and costs of registration were about $405 ----$20 less than what I had paid back in April . I want a refund of the $459 I paid as ransom to get the plates !!! Maybe a manager or an owner will read this review and understand my frustration. More

Here are a few on the issues I experienced. 1) They did not overnight the buyers paperwork when they said they would. 2) They didn't deposit my bank check promptly. 3) They didn't ship my car when they agreed to. 4) They offered to apply a PERMAPLATE coating valued at $900 to keep the deal together but when I asked about the warranty paperwork they claimed that there would be no warranty. 5) They did not send me copies of all of the signed paperwork that they promised to do. 6) They delivered the car with 1/4 tank of gas when I was promised a full tank. When I reported this I was told that they would send me a gift card for the gas. This has not happened. 7) They did not disclose that there was only one key fob instead of two. This will cost me $544.15 to get a replacement. 8) They did not disclose that the front passenger floor mat was missing. 9) They did not disclose that the battery was weak and would need replacing within the first two weeks. Cost $455.30. Dealing with Spanos Motors has been the most horrific business dealing that I have ever had in my 72 years. They are not trustworthy as they do not do what they say they will do. There is certainly a lack of transparency with their staff. There is an overall lack of integrity with the entire organization. If I could go back and change history, Spanos Motors would not be part of mine. More

I found it only because I was motorcycle shopping and they had what I was looking for at an amazingly price - I This dealership is quite a revelation. I found it only because I was motorcycle shopping and they had what I was looking for at an amazingly price - I didn't even bother trying to negotiate, that's how good a price it was and I ALWAYS try to get a better deal. Dean was not only incredibly helpful and kind (especially to my wife and dog!), he is very personable. Most definitely NOT your typical car salesman (and I've BEEN in the biz and know the stereotypes are all too often true). I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for.a nicer, high quality used import...AND they're a Ural dealer! Thanks again to everyone at Spanos! More

Don't Bother I rarely bother with reviews, but Spanos Motors in Daytona Beach was without exception the most unorganized, lousy customer service dealer I have ever I rarely bother with reviews, but Spanos Motors in Daytona Beach was without exception the most unorganized, lousy customer service dealer I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have been buying high end vehicles most of my career and this was the sixth Mercedes I have purchased over the years, but Spanos wins hands down as the dealer I would go out of my way to tell people STAY AWAY… My salesman Dean was great, but when management got involved, every promise was under delivered or broken. Not sure if they are simply incompetent or dishonest or both, but I will never buy a car from these people again. They still owe me $200 for repairs they promised me and said the only way they would pay me is if I took my (bad) reviews down. More

Angel Pizarro returned my inquiry promptly and with all the details that I had asked for including photos and suggestions. Dean Shaw also emailed and texted with Angel to make sure everything I required was fully covered. This type of service is not usual and since I was out of state had to make plans to visit were patient as well. They took the deposit over the phone to hold until I got there. More
