First rate experience! I drove an hour to this dealership as a repeat customer. I was initially looking at a used vehicle, but ended up buying a new Kia. I had two teenage boys with me, and Austin went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable. That brand of customer service is exactly why I made the drive, and will continue to do so for future purchases. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. THE most painLESS car purchase of my life! I wasn't planning on getting a car because my credit union said no to financing inquiry but after talking with Austin Orthman for nearly a week he sai I wasn't planning on getting a car because my credit union said no to financing inquiry but after talking with Austin Orthman for nearly a week he said to give him a chance to see what they CAN do for me. Usually sellers run when they hear this but the non commission sales approach to the dealership is the best way to go and I believe that they sell cars like they do because of this approach. No pressure on them means almost no pressure on me as customer. The dealership has a family feel to it. I happen to be gay and as always it can be awkward when going in blind with my partner and now knowing how it will be received. I had bad experiences before and I laid it out with Austin about who I was and didn't deal with that negativity. This was non issue wit him and I received nothing but pure professionalism from that text on and I felt like I was working with a family member because I felt so comfortable. So with that I made the 30 minute trip out to Rockwall and after a few hours working with his co-worker Kirk Gordon we we're able to get me into a better deal with a NEW Sportage rather than a used one I was looking at. All of this, got a fair deal on my trade in AND I got approved for 0% APR. I know this is not the case for everyone but I was just in utter shock it all unfolded the way it did. Austin was right in giving them the opportunity to see what they COULD do. To add to the customer service experience the car I wanted was at another dealership. Initially I would have had to wait several days for them to transfer the car but he took it upon himself to go to that dealership 20 minutes away to get my car and bring it to me that same day at the Rockwall dealership. Waiting for my car I observed that the whole dealership had the same feel to it as to how the sales people interact with the customers. It's a business first no doubt but every one of their sales people acted like their customer was their family and treated them with respect. I could go on and on about these folks but I can just stop right here and tell you these guys are amazing. If you have any apprehension about buying a car, give them a chance. SW Kia of Rockwall made me a believer that the process can be simple and exciting like buying a new car should be. Thank you guys. See you in a few years when Im looking for a new car! More
