I have had several trips to the dealership for nails in my tires. Michael was very helpful each time. I am disappointed with a few of the things that have already broken on the mini van that we purchased new in 2007. The door handle broke, which Michael helped me get fixed promptly. We have also had the handle on the ceiling in the interior of the van pull out and the small mirror that pops out of the ceiling at the front of the car has a broken hinge. These are not things that have been used much and I was surprised that they have broken already. I have not asked to have them fixed because they are not vital to our use of the car, and I was not sure that they would be under warranty. More

I first went to Southwest Kia to have the spark plugs relaced. While i was there, Mike informed me that it was passed time to have the timing belt replaced. It was to late to do it then so I returned two relaced. While i was there, Mike informed me that it was passed time to have the timing belt replaced. It was to late to do it then so I returned two days later to have it done. While they were working on to timing belt, they discovered that the water pump was starting to leak. Mike called me to inform me of this and gave me a price to fix it at that time. He told me that if I waited to have it done that he would have to charge me for another service call and it would be a lot more. I told him to go ahead and do it then. The work took longer than expected because of the water pump which I understood. Mike told me to make up for the extra time i had to wait that he would change the oil for free at a later date. Two days later I took the car in for the oil change. i am very pleased with the service and the way I was treated at Southwest Kia and would recommend this dealership to all my friends. More

If there is a question about the work, Mike Estrada is ready and willing to check things out and make adjustments if necessary. When he is not available, Michael, Jeff and Gary are willing to assist. I use my van all the time and travel throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas for church meetings. I trust them to get my van in tip top shape for my trips and or around Dallas with my infant, now toddler granddaughter; so there is little or no risk of it breaking down on the road. I feel very comfortable about coming here to Southwest KIA-Northwest and can ask any kind of questions or ask mechanical explanations without feeling inferior. Whenever I need to leave my van for more than four hours, I have appreciated the shuttle service and Israel who drops and picks me up. The waiting area and Jeff’s coffee accommodates me. My granddaughter who loves the children's play area often does not want to leave when my van is ready. When I come to Southwest KIA it is like visiting family friends again. I know all of the service advisors, manager and most of the mechanics by name; and they know mine. It is good to be appreciated as a loyal customer and I especially thank Joe Gonzales who convinced me several years ago to come to this location. He also has the customer's heart in mine as he sponsors Customer Appreciation Day events, cook outs and coupon mail out flyers as well as personal consultation about my vehicle, when necessary. The extended hours has also made it available to stop by while in the area for an oil change. As a retired public school educator and administrator, I love and need to stretch my dollar. In 2004 I purchased my brand new KIA Sedona and now with ritual 3,000 mile oil changes, occasionally belt changes, etc., I now have 147,700 miles on my van and Southwest KIA has made this possible as my guide, consultant and friend. He pays attention to detail so nothing is over looked at the time of picking up my vechile. Had them inspect, mechanically refurbish and detail a used 2004 Rio Cinco for my son. Had a small problem with my car and took it in. Customer service was fast and very clear in what the process would be. I brought it in around noon and received my vehicle back the same day. There was no out of pocket cost as the repair was under warranty. My vehicle was purchased in late 2006 and I've only had a few issues, all of which have been taken care of with little to no cost. In addition, after my first year of ownership I received a 100 dollar credit for service work. Which was nice. All in all, the service department is top notch with me. More
