I recently went to southwest kia to purchase a new vehicle. The salesman i spoke with was Mike and he was fairly nice however the fellows in the finance department never said a word to me but were ver vehicle. The manager was very Rudd to me and spoke only to my friend and not a word to me. I asked for one vehicle they told me i wasn't good enough for that one and wanted me too purchase the cheapest car with the least options on the lot, which wouldn't have been that bad except they only had one and I'm not very fond of silver cars. They refused to lower the interest rate and the best rate they gave me would have put me paying $29,000 for an $18,000 car. I didn't go there for a Chevy priced kia. I'm sure even with poor credit ford or Nissan or maybe even Chevy will treat me better, get me a new car for what I'm asking and most likely will get my business. I'm sorry that i don't meet the kia standard for new purchase but they didn't have to treat me like trash. More

My first two visits to Southwest Kia, I dealt with a clown by the name of Reggie. Reggie literally switched the car I wanted and test drove with a higher priced car, then made a scene when I called him clown by the name of Reggie. Cadillac has extremely high customer service standards. All of which served to make me picky and not easy to satisfy. Kelsy and all of the rest of the sales, service, and parts staff do an excellent job of provding high quality customer service. They tell the truth and do what they say. I've bought one new and one used Kia from Southwest in the last 18 months. There is a high probability that I'll buy my next vehicle from them as well. More
I previously had an appointment with another person and when I arrived they were not available so Kevin stepped in and gave OUTSTANDING service. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person. I gave a rating of 5 due to the exceptional customer service I received at Southwest Kia Mesquite. The salesperson Kevin Cole gave me exactly what I wanted... a good deal. The car was detailed way beyond my expectations and was filled to the brim with gas, not half full, full full.(lol). The windows on the car were not tinted, so he made a promise to have them tinted when it was convenient for me, not for Southwest Kia. Not only did Kevin Cole keep his word and have the windows tinted, he also personally drove my car to my workplace after having the windows tinted as I had to drop the car off early that morning. There seems to be a different attitude on how to sell cars at Southwest Kia Mesquite- no high pressure selling, give the people what they want. If we plan on getting our forth kia we know where to go to and who to see- Southwest Kia Mesquite-Kevin cole. In addition, I also would like to acknowledge Tim Free in the finance department crunching out all those numbers and then going over the forms with us. Tim was very professional, patient and had a great demeanor. He was straight forward and gave informative information on his products and services. The experience was exceptional, and believe me, we have all dreaded buying a car at one time or another.. because of the.... high pressure selling. More
Kevin Cole made my experience with Southwest Kia Mesquite enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, honest and gave me more than enough information about the Kia Sorento than I expected. Being married to a fireman (who really hates car dealers I have to honestly say that I have never liked working with a car salesman - until now. Being married to a fireman (who really hates car dealerships), we were dreading walking into the KIA dealership in Mesquite. Our experience in Rockwall had not been pleasant when the salesman followed us out and said he had to have our name and contact info. We were greeted by Kevin Cole who has to have the most laid back personality ever. We told him what two cars we had narrowed our search to, and he asked if we wanted to test drive them. He actually went and got the keys in just a few minutes, and we were on our way. He didn't ask for our address,license,blood..., take forever to get the keys, or pressure us during the drive. He just sat back and answered questions as we asked them. After we finished, I told him we were going to check out a few prices at other dealerships. He only asked if we would give him a shot after we decided on what car we wanted. My husband actually shook his hand,(a first in almost 30 years of marriage), and told him we would. To make a long story very short, we decided on a KIA RIO for my son to drive back and forth to college. Kevin was there with me every step of the way, and was nothing but supportive while helping me get the best deal I could. The sales manager found what I wanted for the price I would pay, but it was in Austin. NO PROBLEM - Kevin drove there to pick up the car. If you hate buying cars and dealing with salesmen, managers.... then ask for Kevin Cole. He makes it seem like you are just dealing with a friend instead. More
Reggie Barker is great! When i went in the dealership my plans were to look around, test drive and come back later. I guess Reggie had other plans for me :) he was so nice. I have got to say that every other experience that I have ever had concerning new vehicles has always been a disappointment. I went back and forth from one particular dealership and they finally came right out and said that they could not meet the price that I wanted. I shopped around and found the price that I was after and brought it to them. They told me flat out that there was no way that I would be able to get the price for the Kia Sorento that was listed on the Southwest Kia Mesquite dealership's site. I called to check to see if that was the case and I was transferred to Kevin Cole. Instantly I was worried that he was going to be high pressure because he was energetic and enthusiastic about getting me in. I drove over to the dealership from Rockwall and was ready for a wrangle to get my fair deal. Kevin met me with a smile, a firm handshake and an honest, winning attitude. I instantly was taken aback because it was clear that he was nothing like what I thought he would be. He was calm, listened to every word I had to say, gave me credit for having an opinion and recognized instantly that I knew what I wanted. When I pulled out my iPhone and opened my car payment app he did the same thing. We began comparing monthly payments and interest rates. What was there not to like about him? He knew exactly where I was coming from. Kevin stood by me as I negotiated my price and supported me when I was willing to walk away. He went to bat for me to get the price that I was comfortable with which says a whole lot for a car salesperson. He is truly something quite special when it comes to a dealer--he is fair and honest. I walked away with not just my price but with leather seats and a sunroof installed after factory. NICE! I would highly recommend working with Kevin Cole in the future because you couldn't pick a better individual to work with. He knows what he is doing and can help you through the process all the way from applying for credit to working your new stereo system. More
