I bought a brand new 2024 Kia forte back in August and they set up 2 services without my knowledge. When I finally called to schedule my first free oil change I made the appointment for 3 pm got there aro they set up 2 services without my knowledge. When I finally called to schedule my first free oil change I made the appointment for 3 pm got there around 2:15 I know I was early I took this into account however my car didn’t get pulled to a technician until 4 pm got no update nothing just left me sitting in this dingy xxx room that smelled like S?!& because they allowed a women to bring her puppy in here and wait for her car to be serviced so the dog was peeing and pooping everywhere so highly annoyed with that. Then when I go talk to the office manager she’s just like well what do you want me to do just cause you have an appointment time doesn’t mean that’s when your car is going to get seen?! Like what do you mean ma”am that’s exactly what a freaking appointment time means!!! Then I am assuming her boss was absolutely no help he was just like I have 1 lady out sick and another office staff out like how the heck is that my problem? And how is that your machines problems ? That doesn’t do anything to my wait time … then the lady is like it’s not going to be done by the time you need to leave because I need to go get my kids this is absolutely the worst service center I have been to ever since Kayla retired this place has gone to xxxx ! More
I purchased a car almost two months ago and have been trying to get a second key since I picked up the car. I was told by the salesman,Willie Porter I, that he would contact the previous owner to see if trying to get a second key since I picked up the car. I received a rather short reply from Willie via text message, but no other updates since then. It's now more than a month later and I still do not have a second key. Don't tell someone you're going ti do something and not follow through. I received a reply from General Manager,Mauricio Pena based on my initial post.. I replied via email and let him know he could reach out to me. It's been several weeks and no response. I received another reply from another General Manager by the name of Wiley Jackson. He said he wanted to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible. I replied to him letting him know how he could contact me directly. Guess what? NO reply. I absolutely hate to be ignored! This is very shady business as well as very poor Customer Service on all levels. It's all about the money and has nothing to do with overall customer satisfaction. I will not refer anyone to this dealership! I will post a review on all social media platforms to hopefully avoid anyone else from having the same experience as I did when it pertains to Southwest KIA of Mesquite. It's amazing how the level of Customer Service goes away once a sale has been completed and commissions paid. NEVER again!!! Beware!!!! If you’re in the market for a car, PLEASE go to a different dealership! More

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SOUTHEAST KIA IN MESQUITE! Not only do they not honor the recalls, answer their phones or their computers are always down! My daughter’s car was sitting to be fixed for a week Not only do they not honor the recalls, answer their phones or their computers are always down! My daughter’s car was sitting to be fixed for a week with no update. We finally decided to go in person and of course they couldn’t find her car because it wasn’t even in the system. Then we’re told they’re two weeks behind! My daughter is in college without her car!!!! I have called and keep getting voicemail with no call backs or transferred to another person who transfers again and again! More
KIA K5 ISSUES! !! I bought a certified pre owned 2021 K5 a year ago and the A/C has gone out twice already. I took it into Kia and of course the gold extended warra !! I bought a certified pre owned 2021 K5 a year ago and the A/C has gone out twice already. I took it into Kia and of course the gold extended warranty doesn’t cover the melting in the fuse box. They quoted me $5,000 to fix it for something that I did not do! Kia actually knows about this issue in the K5s, but has not issued a recall. Mind you it could potentially catch fire, which sounds like a possible lawsuit coming. I am in the military, currently serving our country and have been going back and forth with @southwestkiamesquite FOR A WEEK AND A HALF because their manager told me I could upgrade the warranty to platinum and even quoted me prices to do so. It’s also the SUMMER TIME and hot. They always say they are going to “call back” (but never do) and yet I first complained July 15 and it’s now July 24 and I have no movement on this issue. Two different warranty reps said that I could upgrade my warranty even though the car was being looked at, and I specifically asked if they could if a claim had been put in; THEY SAID YES! I have been patient long enough. I cannot afford to replace the engine harness/fuse box nor should I have to since it’s a KIA K5 ISSUE! Other K5 owners check in please because the reviews I have seen online are saying they have the same issue and some have caught fire. This is ridiculous! More
Great location in Mesquite. It’s a little hard getting to due to the construction but besides that they have a very large selection of Kia vehicles to choose from. He was great start to finish. He answered all of my questions and he if he wasn’t sure he got right back with me on it. I got the Kia Sorento SX Prestige and it has everything that I want on the car. Jerry went over the car with me to make sure that I understood what o was working with and the experience overall was fantastic. I would highly recommend this location More
I would like to thank the crew at Southwest Kia Mesquite for getting me safely back on the road. I had trouble getting someone to listen to my issues at first, but after getting through to Service Manager L for getting me safely back on the road. I had trouble getting someone to listen to my issues at first, but after getting through to Service Manager Larry Johnson he took action immediately to find the problem. Shop Forman Brett took it from there, got the work completed, washed, and back to me as soon as possible. The entire service drive is great. Heather, Adrian, all of them are helpful and considerate of your schedule and time frames. I’ve been a customer here at this location for 15 years and I have to say with this new management and leadership it is the most seamless process that I have experienced in a very long time. Thank you Southwest Kia Mesquite! Great job. More
I received horrible customer service, was given attitude as soon as I spoke to someone. The service advisor didn't believe that I was having problems starting my car because it "started right up" for him. as soon as I spoke to someone. Told me it would be a 2 weeks to just diagnose the problem and made a bunch of excuses about why a loaner wouldn't be available but would told me there's a hertz around the corner. We ended up picking the car back up to take it to another dealership. When we got home we noticed my car charger was missing. I called and was sent to voicemail so I left a message with the service manager and no one called me back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE to a once loyal customer. I won't be back. Took it to Rockwall and it was fixed same day with a new battery. That's all I needed and Mesquite couldn't even help with that simple repair. More
It seems that it is almost impossible to get warranty service in the Service Department. I came in with an appointment that took over 2 weeks to get. It was for an oil change, recall fix and a malfunc service in the Service Department. I came in with an appointment that took over 2 weeks to get. It was for an oil change, recall fix and a malfunctioning wing mirror folding motor to be covered under the warranty. The oil change and the recall part - no problem. The repair on the mirror wasn't done. I was told the car would have to get in line to be looked at and that could take days. The service writer told me the vehicle would have to be left for TEN DAYS. Not brought back in 10 days, LEFT THERE. This was unacceptable and I left. This service department used to really good. But the dealership was apparently sold and the great service writer I dealt with has disappeared and gone somewhere else. This service department is not acceptable for Kia warranty work. It's not aa great incentive to buy another vehicle from them. More
I had a horrible experience with the service department. I made an appointment to take my vehicle in. When i got there the service advisor said they couldn't look at it that day. The service advisor said it would be at least a week before they could even look at it and it would be a month if I hadn't made an appointment. together my vehicle was there 3 weeks. When I took my vehicle in I inquired about a loner car, I was told they don't do that. The service advisor I was working with left the company, I was told he retired. When I was assigned another service advisor, he had only been on the job 1 day. When I explained my situation to him, he said he thought they did have loner cars, apparently they didn't have any the day I was there. I called this dealership so many times during the 3 weeks my vehicle was there. One phone call I pressed 0 for the operator, a young man answered, I ask him who the general manager was and he hung up on me. Once I found out the name of the general manager, I left 2 voice mail messages for a call back, never received a call back. I left several messages for the service manager to call me and he has never returned my call. I received a text asking how was my experience on the service of my vehicle and to contact a Joseph Gonzales if I had any questions. So I called Mr. Gonzales, long story short Mr Gonzales gave me his cell number. I left several messages for Mr. Gonzales and he finally text me to let me know he no longer worked there. I submitted my receipt for the rental car I had to get for 3 weeks to the 2nd service advisor for reimbursement. It seems that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Very poor communication and leadership. I hope I never have to deal with this dealership again. Poor customer service. More
