Our salesperson, James, young guy, was outstanding and very helpful in our car purchase. I would recommend him to anyone as he was enthusiastic about the sale and not once did I have to get information f very helpful in our car purchase. This was a 2 night experience and at the end of the first night I was a little upset with the finance person by the tone of comment that was made at the end of the night. I had indicated that the deal was co night I was a little upset with the finance person by the tone of comment that was made at the end of the night. I had indicated that the deal was contingent on being able to get 2 cars one for me the other for my partner, one was looking okay but the other was not, and he said "then it's no deal" which was okay but it was the tone in which it was said that was upsetting. But by night two they were able to work things out and the tone changed considerably, so over all I am very pleased. More

First of all let me say I love love love my new 2012 Kia Sportage!!! SW Kia did a great job to get me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I met with Frankie, we drove the car and then we started talki Sportage!!! SW Kia did a great job to get me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I met with Frankie, we drove the car and then we started talking about price Frankie was so awesome! He spent TWO days working with me and management to get my fully loaded; AWD; Turbo Sportgage at the price I wanted. He never gave up and making sure I was going to get this car and be happy about the price and process when I was done. After I bought the car almost EVERYONE came out to look at it, admire it and celebrate with me! Frankie took the time to set up my blue tooth and show me as many "perks" as possible about the car. Frankie called me the next day to make sure I was still happy and had to make sure I did not have any questions. I went in to the dealership with a specific price range that would be within my budget. I told Frankie what I could afford. He gave me a price quote within my budget, I signed the initial paperwork and the that would be within my budget. I told Frankie what I could afford. He gave me a price quote within my budget, I signed the initial paperwork and then Frankie told me that the price he quoted me was every two weeks which meant that the monthly payments would be double my original budged amount. I told Frankie that I thought that was very underhanded and that I could not afford a payment that high. He persisted telling me how hard he worked to get me approved and that I could refinance the loan in 3-6 months and bring the payments down. I felt pressured and continued with the sale knowing I wouldn't be able to make the payments. I know I was the one who made the final decision and that whatever happens I am totally at fault, but I feel that your sales people should be trained to LISTEN to the customers and be helpful to them rather than hurt them. It makes a bad impression. The rest of the car buying experience was great. It was done in a timely fashion, I was helped with insurance coverage and was well taken care of. If I had found something in my price range it would have been a perfect experience. More
My mother & I arrived @ Southwest Kia around 2:45 PM on Monday, September 19, 2011. Mr. Bowie was already standing outside & I walked up to him, told him that I wanted a "NEW CAR, RED, KIA SOUL". My m on Monday, September 19, 2011. Mr. Bowie was already standing outside & I walked up to him, told him that I wanted a "NEW CAR, RED, KIA SOUL". My mom already has a Grey/Silver Kia Soul & I new what it felt like to drive one. So that was my choice. Mr. Bowie urshed my mother & me inside told me that he didn't have a RED SOUL, but that he wouldn't let me leave without being satisfied with the color Kia I wanted. Mr. Bowie proceeded to explain things to us, the financing process, collecting information, & filling out paperwork. From that point on, he was on top of it.......I hear he's call "Stan The Man"........& I have to agree. An excellent salesman & he truly worked very, very hard to make sure we were happy. I would have given Mr. Bowie a "10" for his excellent service. My mom & I didn't leave Southwest Kia until after 8PM & that's because after numerous finance companys had turned us down, Mr. Bowie worked even harder because he was trying to reach this one company & we had been there all day, we were tired so we left. He promised he would call us after reaching said finance company that evening or early in the morning. We were only maybe 3 blocks away when Mr. Bowie contacted me & said "COME BACK".....I said "R U SURE" & he said yes.......Got back there & he had found a company that would finance us........WHAT A BLESSING......I WILL refer friends/co-workers/family members to Southwest Kia & advise them to speak with Mr. Stan Bowie........Thank U again Sir........Have a Blessed Day...............Anna M. My husband and I drove in with no intention of purchasing that day. "Just looking"----Oh well. We had seen and optima at a restaurant the night before and decided to go by the dealership to see one up close. that day. "Just looking"----Oh well. I was magically drawn to this vehicle and from out of nowhere appeared Timmy. A well dressed young man that was more than anxious to help. He showed me the optima but my mind kept going back to this larger than I thought RED sportage. Timmy was skilled at asking the right question to spark my ever growing interest in this car. He asked if I wanted to test drive the car and in my own skillful way turned to my husband and asked if HE wanted to drive it. As we drove Timmy was more than helpful in explaining the amenities and by the end of the the trip an avenue of finance had been opened and before we knew it we were in negotiations. Many possibilities were explored in the end an agreement was reached. We were taken to the service dept and met Ray who was pleasant and gave his personal number to ensure we would be taken care of in the event of service needs. The paperwork was handled professionally and we were on way home in "MY" RED KIA SPORTAGE in no time at all. In all we so happy with the experience that on the way out my husband wanted to know where the bell was so he could ring it. GREAT JOB!!! More
