Disaster, Untruths, & Bad Business Practices Where to start, we had decided months in advance on which type of car we wanted, for business purposes, we chose the Kia Forte, for the warranty and m Where to start, we had decided months in advance on which type of car we wanted, for business purposes, we chose the Kia Forte, for the warranty and mpg. The reason I listed all the names, we had to deal with each one of these individuals during the course of this 2 day transaction and also over a period of a month, as my wife talked to the internet sales staff. Day 1, we drove in from out of town, 3.5hrs away, and we planned to visit a few dealerships, but Southwest Kia had promised an internet price, that was below any other dealerships pricing, except for one, that I will keep nameless. So, when we first arrived to Southwest off LBJ, we were redirected from William to I believe her name was Ashley. After spending 3hrs, the Sales Manager Antonio Ayala, agreed to the internet price, that their company advertised, we were very honest upfront and told them that we were going to look at one other location and would the price be honored, the sales person, Ashley, insured us that it would be. We left, went to the other dealership and called back 45 min later, and the Sales Manger of Southwest Antonio Ayala, would not honor his own companies pricing. We went back to Southwest the next business day, as this was a business decision and not an emotional one. We asked to speak to the General Sales Manager Edwin Rivera,he was not of any help, from a customer standpoint, he even raised his voice at my wife in there open area with other customers present, we asked him to lower his voice and he said he felt like he needed to speak over my wife, to get his point across, which he said multiple people worked with us, which was not our fault, they switched us to different people, and he said that their time had been spent trying to help us, and we chose to go to another dealership and he felt like we wasted their time and did not feel like they should honer their pricing. The pricing changed 3 times during the course of this transaction. We asked William, twice, Ashley once, Scott once and the finance manager once, to insure that our credit would not be ran through multiple places and only go through Kia Financing, which did not happen, instead there was a 2nd inquiry added. We did not want multiple hits on credit report, as we have excellent credit. We also told them that we would take care of the taxes and insurance, as they have a charge of $150, which we were told there was no cost. We dealt with Scott, the new finance employee, and through the direction of his finance manager, came back and said they had to do the taxes and insurance for us, since we were only financing a portion of it. Which if you live out of the state of Texas, that was not true as we had already done our homework, if you were doing your own financing. We opted to get our own financing, they also took our license plate which in the state of LA, that is considered private property and has to be turned within 24 hrs or your fined. We finally left with the car, with only a thank you for your business from Ashley, Scott and William. Then my wife called the Finance Manager, the next business day and his name escapes me, she reiterated to him that our credit was ran twice and for him to make sure that the 2nd inquiry be removed, as multiple people, within their organization, was informed of our wishes and if their policy was different, then, why did not one person including yourself not say something beforehand, he said that he would not do that, and that we received exceptional service, which my wife said "no we did not", and he said, yelling, "Well we will just come and pickup the car." At this point my wife very frustrated with the ongoing rude and unprofessional behavior of this management staff. She finally hung up on him, because he continued to be belligerent. He then called backed, being belligerent and left a message again, about coming to pickup the car. Our banker called him the next business day and asked do you want us to stop payment on the check, and he said no, and backed off, . We were told that after our banks checked cleared we would receive our 2nd key, we had to call 2 weeks later to ask for them to send it, thanks to Ashley. One week after the purchase my wife was called by Phyllis Griffin in the Registration and Title Department, and she confirmed that we had to take care of our own Registration and Title, due to the fact that our bank had the contract, another deceitful practice. The staff of Ashley, William, Phyllis, Scott, & Nichelle were great to deal with, if the sales, finance and customer service aspect was left up to Antonio, Edwin and the finance manager. This company would never see even a 2 star review. I would never recommend, working with men with such low self esteem and they feel like they can speak to women, in any manner they see fit, is appalling. Im sure they will rebut this, but too many incidents, by their top 3, to be able to offset these truths.. Thanks to Ashley, Nichelle, William, Scott and Phyllis, for their help. They are the only reason for the company getting any stars, unfortunately their managers made it such a bad experience, I feel bad for them, to have to try and justify their attitude. More

Great experience We had just moved to Dallas and I really needed to trade my F150 for something smaller and more fuel efficient. Had some issues with another Kia deale We had just moved to Dallas and I really needed to trade my F150 for something smaller and more fuel efficient. Had some issues with another Kia dealership so I thought I'd give Southwest a try. Walked in and was greeted by Zoila. I told her what I was looking for, what I needed for my trade and how much cash I was willing to spend. She was great to work with! She showed me several options, did not try to upsell me and patiently test drove 4 vehicles in 100+ heat. This was not a high price or high profit deal for them at all, I just wanted something more practical for my commute. Zoila spent a lot of time making sure that I found what worked for me. I'm very happy with my 2015 Rio. It's the perfect little commuter car and I can't say enough good things about my experience. When it's time for another vehicle, I will definitely be back. Thank you, Zoila, it was a true pleasure working with you! More
