how I got ripped off. My wife and I came in on a Friday Jan. 10th we looked at a Chevy Colorado with a list price of $33,750.00. the sales man (Ben) was very nice and profe My wife and I came in on a Friday Jan. 10th we looked at a Chevy Colorado with a list price of $33,750.00. the sales man (Ben) was very nice and professional. he told me about the $2000.00 rebate and I thought he said $1000. if we get financed through GM. we set down to talk about numbers. I had a 2004 Dodge Dakota I was using for a trade which they gave me a thousand for. after talking numbers, my wife and I decided that we needed to talk about it some more. as we were getting ready to leave the manager offered us a price of $21,600.00 no down and $495.00 a month. We decided to take that offer on Sat. however with the bad storm coming in we did not get back until Sunday Jan 12th. when Ben asked us what the last deal we got was I again stated the last offer the manager gave us. he went and talked to manager and came back and said that the payments were actually going to be $525.00 a month. I said okay and he said we had to wait for finance guy. after waiting over 30 mins. for this guy he finally took us back to sign paperwork.we started chit chatting and signing paperwork.he talked us into getting a 7 year bumper to bumper or 100000. mile warranty which made our payments jump up to $565.00. then when I get home and start looking through all the paperwork we signed I seen how badly they didn't follow their own words. not only did they not give us the sale price of $21,600.00 they also didn't give us $1000.00 for our trade. so instead of paying $21600.00 we payed $32550.00 plus they only gave us $1.00 for our trade. I know it's my fault I should have read the papers before signing them but I thought I could trust them at their word. now I'm screwed and am stuck with it. they sure pulled a fast one on me and I will never step back in that place again.
