We showed up on Saturday needing an oil change and tire rotation. The lady working was very friendly and advised us there were 5 cars ahead of us. Within 2 hours we were on our way. I brought my Jeep Cherokee due to a rubbing sound in the rear end when I turned at low speeds. Apparently the rear end needed some oil. Tech ordered oil and advised that the Cherokee could not be driven wit rear end when I turned at low speeds. Apparently the rear end needed some oil. Tech ordered oil and advised that the Cherokee could not be driven without the oil. 9 days later without the vehicle the oil was still not in. I was told the oil should be in in a day on day one of dropping off the car. I was advised on day 9 that I could actually drive the vehicle and wait till the oil came in. So I was out of a vehicle for nearly two weeks. Ultimately one if the techs drove to Slidell to get the oil from another dealership. This could have been done much sooner. I was most disappointed with the lack of regard to the inconvenience of not having my car and the minimum communication I was given. I had to call the sevice department daily for updates. If I had not I wonder if my car would still be waiting for this oil. My Cherokee is fairly new and this was my first time getting it serviced and the service provided was much less tab satisfactory. I am concerned what the service would be like if I was to have a major repair given that a very minor repair was so much trouble. More
