I came in desperation to Southlake Nissan to see if they could help me with a paperwork issue I was having with another dealership, Glendale Nissan in Glendale Heights, IL. I needed a simple VIN form filled out for a vehicle I had purchased from Glendale Nissan and they had been ignoring my phone calls and emails for over a month. My dealer plate was expired and I could not drive the car I purchased until this paperwork issue was taken care of for the Indiana BMV. Sue Davis at Southlake Nissan was wonderful. She listened to my problem and discussed what they could do about it for me with the business manager, Allen Moody. He was great and agreed to help resolve this situation. They got on the phone with Glendale Nissan and my form was completed and faxed to them in a half hour. I don't know why Glendale Nissan gives such terrible customer service, BUT THE PEOPLE AT SOUTHLAKE NISSAN GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (even for people who are not exactly their current customers). I have never had a good experience when it comes to buy a car. This time it was different. I came from the Indy area to Southlake Nissan because a friend recommend them. I was in the market for a used car for my daughter. I looked at cars that were available and nothing was worth a second look. I called Joe as I had recently leased a 2013 Rouge. I told him what I was looking for and he was able to get us a lease on a brand new 2013 Sentra at a price that I could work with. I never thought that my daughter would be driving a brand new car, that gets great gas milage and has the best safety features. Thank you Joe for all that you have done! I called Joe explained what I was looking for and what I was driving and told him I have very limited time in my schedule which he completely worked around. when I arrived at the dealership he was prepared and ready for me, he chose several vehicles that he thought I would be interested in, he chose very well from the information I had given him on the phone. Joe was very friendly made me feel very comfortable not pressured everything was very easy and uncomplicated almost as if I was out with a friend. within no time I was driving out with my new vehicle. I have been back to the dealerships for all my services and Joe has come over to say hi and see how I like my new truck, and we have already looked at several other new pickup trucks for my husband that we will be purchasing next year. the entire experience at this dealership sales and service has been awesome they make me feel special and at home every time I walk in. I highly recommend this dealership to all, you won’t be disappointed !!!! More
LOVE my new vehicle but will not return to this dealership. My salesman was great, friendly and I thought helpful but after the purchase, I learned the hard way that this was all an act. I wanted remote start on my new vehicle and was told by my salesman I could have it installed there. After purchase, I called to make an appointment to have this done and was informed they do not do it. Called my salesman back since he told me it could be done and he apologized he misinformed me. After talking to the sales manager, Dan, I was informed my salesman straight out lied to me because they do not do remote starts and he told me my salesman was well aware of that. So he lied to me to make the sale. The sales manager was not willing to do anything to help me even though it is illegal for a salesman to state wrong information to make a sale. I contacted Nissan's corporate office and am having my remote start installed through another local Nissan dealership where I will be taking my vehicle for service since they were so much more helpful. Having remote start may not seem like a big deal (it is to me but the sales manager also told me he doesn't think it's that big of a deal for me to want this) but when I've had it on 2 older cars, spent a pretty penny, and bought a BRAND new car - a LIE is a LIE and that's what they do here.... LIE. More
