I am retracting the top score that I gave Earl yesterday when I purchased an suv. The reason for this change is, because when going over the paperwork the next day I realized that they over charged me $2500 when I purchased an suv. After going over the numbers a few times to make sure that I was correct. I called Earl and explained to him that the numbers didn’t add up. He had me text him a copy of the paperwork. He told me that it wasn’t the correct paperwork that I sent, so I decided to go see him. I just wanted to make sure that I didn’t miss anything. As soon as I walked in the door he started waving a piece of paper saying that was the paperwork that he requested from me. This paperwork was never given to me. I did sign it and take responsibility for not taking a closer look at what I was signing. Paperwork showed a charge of $1899.00 for Xzilon protection. I can tell you that I have no idea of what that is. Earl kept telling me that it was a great product that comes with every vehicle at no cost to me, that’s something that Kia does better than its competitors. So I paid no mind, because he said that it was no extra cost. He even put a drop on a piece of paper on to show me and I laughed at him saying that I didn’t need to see it. Then he asked me to initial the little strip of paper, I figured it was something that the company wanted their sales people to show it’s customers. Then comes the signing part. I don’t have to tell anyone that has purchased a vehicle on how it works. They talk to you about the family, work, food…etc. that’s when they get you to sign for the extra charges and then never give you a copy of the extra charges. Again I want to say that I was the fool, I take full responsibility I should have known better than to just sign and not go through every line. Please, please, please go through every single line. I have purchased many cars and still got deceived. Lastly I don’t even know if this Xzilon 7 is on my suv and if it is, when was it applied. The suv was waiting for me after signing the paperwork.
