My experience in February was totally horrible. I couldn't get a call or status on my vehicle and it took two weeks to complete. The service writer has been amazing and communicates very well on the progress of the repairs. Horrible Experience! I had a very negative experience at South Fork Dealership service center. I made two appointments to have my auto start/stop light checked out, but I had a very negative experience at South Fork Dealership service center. I made two appointments to have my auto start/stop light checked out, but the first time I was told that I needed to leave my vehicle overnight, which I was not informed of until I arrived. The second time, I was quoted a diagnostic fee of $260, but was then told that I would have to pay for it even if I went ahead with the repairs. I was also told that the diagnostic would take 48 hours, but when I called to check on the status of my vehicle, I was told that they were behind and would be working on it on Saturday. This turned out to be a lie. When I spoke to the service manager, he was initially dismissive of my concerns, but eventually agreed to waive the diagnostic fee. However, he still insisted that I pay $546 for the repairs, even though the labor and parts should have only cost around $220. I argued with him for an hour before he finally agreed to reduce the price to $446. I am very disappointed with the service I received at South Fork Dealership. I felt misled and taken advantage of, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Here are some specific examples of the unprofessional and dishonest behavior that I experienced: 1) I was not informed that I needed to leave my vehicle overnight for the first appointment. 2) I was told that the diagnostic fee would be waived if I went ahead with the repairs, but this turned out to be false. 3) I was told that the diagnostic would take 48 hours, but this was also a lie. 4) I was initially dismissed by the service manager when I raised my concerns. I had to argue for an hour to get the price of the repairs reduced. 5) I believe that South Fork Dealership should take steps to improve the quality of its customer service. Specifically, the dealership should: 1. Be more transparent about the costs of repairs and services. 2. Train its employees to be more honest and upfront with customers. 3. Put in place a system for handling customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner. I hope that my review will help other potential customers avoid the same negative experience that I had. More
