Every time I let them touch my tires though for over 7 years now they are jacked up when I leave. Overinflated or unequally inflated. The tire pressure light goes off without 2 miles of the dealership. When I go to check them I see the issue. I’ve gotten my first ever bubbles in tires in 30+ years of driving messing with them. When you return the tire and car they blame me for over inflating the tire. Just going back to not letting them touch anything but the free oil change and inspection. More
Andrew is the reason I continue to bring my car for service. He listens to what my concerns are and makes suggestions as to what I might need. he doesn't try to force repairs that I don't have to have. service. It is too difficult to get the southern advantage oil change done. We live out of town and is a 2 hour drive to get there. They will not schedule a time slot for the oil change so it is first come first change done. We live out of town and is a 2 hour drive to get there. They will not schedule a time slot for the oil change so it is first come first serve. Several times we have gotten there and almost not been able to receive service. We have not had any problems at this dealership, our comments are based strictly on the issues of the convenience or lack of trying to get the oil changes done. If you are local to the dealer then it's probably not a issue for most. More
My biggest issue with Southern Volkswagen is that the customer service is hit or miss. Some customer service representatives are incredibly helpful and willing to answer questions and other others seem l customer service is hit or miss. Some customer service representatives are incredibly helpful and willing to answer questions and other others seem like it’s an imposition to even be calling them. I realize that according to most folks service done on, Volkswagens tend to be a little more expensive, but whenever I have had to have work done, that is additional to my regular annual check ups it seems to be incredibly expensive compared to services that I would pay for other makes of cars. Over $600 to replace back brake pads and rotors seems incredibly expensive but they kinda have you over a barrel when they tell you it is needed, but you feel the cost is inflated. More
