FIVE Days To Complete A FIFTEEN Minute Repair The key immobilizer started killing the engine. We towed the vehicle in on Wednesday. It sat there Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday, and Friday The key immobilizer started killing the engine. We towed the vehicle in on Wednesday. It sat there Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday, and Friday. The key was reprogrammed on Saturday, however then the dealer called and informed us they wanted to keep the car until Monday to make sure the reprogramming was satisfactory. The dealer graciously waived the computer diagnosis fee for the repair. I clearly recognize first come, first served, but xxxx, get real! More

Came in for a VA annual inspection. Arrived around 8 am ( your work starts at 7am)...so I expected a long wait as there were probably several customers ahead of me. I crushed some numbers, applied rebates for VW loyalty and military veteran, and threw some numbers to the saleman. The manager couldn't get his math to match mine (~$24) but my salesman handled it well and I am pleased with the outcome. My father has been selling cars and managing dealerships for over 30 years. When I told the "product pusher" she politely finished her spiel, but didn't force the issue when I declined. The finance guy was great, very friendly despite the fact that we were there until nearly 9pm on a drizzly Friday. We brought our own financing so he had us in and out with a phone call to the bank. Note:. Usually a dealer washes and the car and fills the tank. My car was delivered unwashed, but it was raining so I don't really fault them for this. If you go on a dry day make sure they wash your car! More
