In February 2008 I was looking to trade in my Ford F-150 for a Nissan truck. I stopped by Chesapeake Nissan and was greeted by Ray Simms. I test drove a couple of different trucks but I had my eye on partic for a Nissan truck. I stopped by Chesapeake Nissan and was greeted by Ray Simms. I test drove a couple of different trucks but I had my eye on particular truck that was not on Ray's lot. I told him what I was looking for and the next day he found it and had it ready for me to test drive. Ray was one of the nicest salesmen I had ever met. He was friendly and understanding and listened to my needs. In February I purchased a new Nissan Frontier 4x4 Nismo Crew Cab from Ray. At the same time my wife was in need of new vehicle so I told Ray what I was looking for and he set out on a search. Over the next few months Ray stayed in touch with me and my wife and in August we purchased a new Nissan Altima. My wife and myself are very happy with the car and once again Ray was a true gentlemen. Everyone at the dealership is very personable and truly wants to make the customer happy before they leave. After being stationed in Japan for four years, my family and I finally returned to the Hampton Roads area. We were "jet lagged", especially our 12 year old son Joshua. The first thing we needed was a car and Rick treated us like we were a king and queen. He provided the highest caliber of customer service I have ever received from a car dealership. My wife and I are in our mid-50s, and we have purchased many cars during our 30 years of marriage having raised three adults, 1 12 year old son and two grandchildren. But after serving almost 30 years in the U.S. Navy, I have never received the kind of service that we experienced from anyone like we did from Rick. He is certainly a people person and a real pro in his profession. I hope that this short note we extend our thanks to him and the entire Hall Nissan team. When I decided to purchase a car I began with a list of 6 vehicles that caught my interest - one of them being the Nissan 350. When I met Charles at Hall Nissan, he introduced me to the Nissan 370. I was v vehicles that caught my interest - one of them being the Nissan 350. When I met Charles at Hall Nissan, he introduced me to the Nissan 370. I was very impressed with the 370 but initially felt it was above my price range. I continued to look at other makes and models, both new and used. Charles kept in touch with me, listened to my concerns, and worked to bring the price closer to my budget. Mike Roberts also called several times to get a feel for what I was looking for and why. I narrowed my focus down to three vehicles, one of which was the 370. As I continued to research my remaining three, I can say the constant contact from Hall was a big factor in my decision. I rarely heard from the other dealers with whom I was talking. Unless I called them, their contact to me was limited to e-mail or postcards. If a dealership will not maintain personal contact when I am purchasing a car, what will they do when the car needs service or repairs? As a single mother and a very busy business person, it is imperative I have a dealership I can trust and who will work with me throughout the life of the vehicle - not just during the sale. The personal service I received at Hall was pretty evident throughout the process - from sales, to delivery, to financing. They made things quick and easy, and there was no big pressure to make a decision. They seemed genuinely interested in making sure I made the right choice.
