Hello my name is Rob Kivett and I am the General Sales Manager here at Southern Motors Honda. Thank you for your review however, I would like to shine some light on the facts and truth in the matter. You purchased pre-owned car from a very reputable dealership. You declined to purchase any service contract or warranty extension that was offered to you upon purchasing. You had a breakdown and we towed the vehicle to the dealership at our expense (first time Southern Motors went above and beyond to help your situation). We got the car fixed and thought it was all good and delivered it back to you. Not long later the issued was happening again and again the car came back to our shop. We sent the car to the same make dealership to look at it and give a better diagnosis (again at our expense and again going above and beyond to help you). You continued to call and come here asking for an update even though we didn't have one to give yet. After a few days of not getting the answer you came to the dealership with a few family members. Your family members came here demanding answers. They came here and yelled at me, cursed at me, and threatened me with a lawyer and "lemon law" claim. I assured you and your family that we were a reputable dealership that is celebrating our 95th year in business! I told you we would get an answer from the shop that had your car and go from there but we were going to get it taken care of! You messaged the dealership on a Sunday when we were closed and our AI assistant answered back to you that we would buy the car back. Obviously AI doesn't know the back story and that you had already talked with me. We got an answer this morning that your engine needed replacement. I called you first thing this morning to let you know. You came into the dealership today and I sat down with you and your mother to let you know that the engine was needing to be replaced. I told you we WERE going to fix it FREE OF CHARGE (third time we tried to help you)! You refused that as an option and again cursed at me , yelled at me, and called me names. You asked me how fixing the engine was helping your situation. I told you at this time we were no longer willing to help. Again thank you for your review but hopefully this adds some clarity to the situation!
