Mr. Labar, I am disappointed that we were not able to live up to your expectations here at Hyman Bros. Mazda. I am also disappointed that you omitted some key facts in your claims, most notably that we were the party that initially offered to refund you the money that you spent during your previous visit, since our repair to your ill-maintained convertible top did not hold, and that you declined that offer, all while screaming and berating us over the phone. You demanded that we replace your top and free of charge or that we would be hearing from your lawyer. At that time, we withdrew our offer to refund your monies, made your vehicle available for immediate pick-up, and awaited contact from your attorney of choice - and will continue to wait for that contact in whatever form it may be. Lastly, your other claims regarding our new vehicle pricing seem to have little, if any, merit or relevance; especially in this context. Our true Hyman Bros. Mazda Customers know and understand that we bend over backwards for them, and we will continuously do so. Any past, present, or potential customers that have questions or concerns about this instance, or any of our policies or procedures, I can only urge you to call, email, or stop by. Hyman Bros. Mazda genuinely cares greatly for its customers; especially as many have chosen to leave positive, but more importantly, objective reviews. Mrs. Unsatisfied Customer used threats and scare tactics in attempt to extort additional accessories from us on a used vehicle listed for sale claiming that the 3rd Party Website stated that our vehicle had certain accessories that it did not. The 3rd Party Website in question has several disclaimers to use independent verification of all information listed as inaccuracies do occur. We corrected the inaccuracy on behalf of the 3rd party website. I absolutely stand by my decision to refuse to sell a vehicle to a rude, demanding, and unreasonable customer. I wouldn't tolerate it from an employee. We strive to provide an exceptional experience to our customers but I cannot tolerate or turn a blind to a consumer hindering an exceptional workplace experience for our employees. Nobody called any anyone a name. We simply stated that by Mrs. Unsatisfied Customer threatening to take legal action and leave negative online reviews if we did not provide her with a Soft Top in addition to 3-Piece Removable Hard Top that the vehicle was equipped with from the factory was, by definition, extortion. Especially since her claims are unfounded. We then respectfully declined to sell Mrs. Unsatisfied Customer a vehicle based solely on her actions and how we were treated. Just as a consumer has a right to shop elsewhere if they feel they did not like the way they were treated by a business. I learned at a young age that if you're being bullied the best thing to do is walk away. Respectfully, Huddy Skiba General Manager
