My BRAND NEW car has been in the shop since Tuesday. It is Saturday and I have no updates. I have owned the car for one month and it has been in the shop half of that. Horrible treatment from the service adviser. My 2017 Kia Sportage is consuming oil at an alarming rate. 9 quarts added in less than 5000 miles. It was apparent from the start that the service adviser assigned to me did not believe my story. When I asked him about the issue some Kia and Hyundai models were having with their engines I was told "we're not just going to give you a new engine". The oil was changed and I drove 1000 miles. Took the car back in and low and behold was told it was less than 1/2 quart low. The service tech wouldn't even acknowledge me. I am still adding oil to the car every 200 miles or so. I have bought 2 used vehicles from southern but after being treated as a liar and having my concerns ignored I will never buy another vehicle from Southern and will definitely never have anything serviced by them. More
