I never spoke to a service manager, or a Jeffery Dobson. I spoke to Jon Conway who is a service adviser. I was told that Hall Auto would reimburse me the difference from the total price after honoring the service coupon. I still don’t know if Hall credited my credit card yet, as I am out of town and for some odd reason, I am unable to check my account from my mobile phone. I’m guessing that my credit union is offline at the moment To be clear and fair, I’m not one who usually complains about service issues at all. During the past 5 years, I have always appreciated how Hall Auto took care of my vehicles maintenance needs. But to be totally honest, I don’t think that this matter should have even gone this far. I should have been charged the correct amount from the start, and when I questioned the amount, I should have received the proper amount on the spot. But then, to make matters worse, the service technician did not install my rear brake parts correctly, which caused the vehicle to shake and vibrate badly. So, I had to return it to get that matter corrected. That was an issue totally out of my hands. It was Hall Auto’s shoddy maintenance that caused that issue. And I still hadn’t heard if the first issue was even resolved yet at that time. In all honesty, had I been the service manager, and someone came in with the same issue, I would have personally called that customer and refunded his money completely! But, it seems to me that one customer who isn’t happy will not hurt the “bottom line”. So now, I hate to say, that I’m not sure I can trust Hall Auto for any of my future maintenance needs.
