We came in on Tuesday after looking to purchase a 2021 Dodge Ram with a Jeep trade in. Justin Carr was amazing the entire process and got us the options and payment we wanted. We came back to him on Satur Dodge Ram with a Jeep trade in. Justin Carr was amazing the entire process and got us the options and payment we wanted. We came back to him on Saturday to buy another new vehicle and we’re even more impressed with his customer service and attentiveness. More
Very disappointed in the service department. We took our Fiat in to figure out why the break light would turn off and on while driving. They told us it was a sensor and replaced it. We took the car home a Fiat in to figure out why the break light would turn off and on while driving. They told us it was a sensor and replaced it. We took the car home and that didn't fix the issue. They didn't even check to see if that fixed the problem before having us take it home! When we contacted them they said to bring it in again. We brought the car back and they said "must be a loose wire, Sorry" 🤷. Soooo they replaced a sensor that didn't need to be replaced and didn't fix the issue I took it in for. $600 later and nothing is fixed. What a joke. More
4th in line at 6:20 and it took them 40 minutes just to get me checked in. Cars that were behind me got checked in before me. Had one service tech ask me what I was here for said oil change and he said s get me checked in. Cars that were behind me got checked in before me. Had one service tech ask me what I was here for said oil change and he said she will take care of you. After waiting for the women to finish drinking her coffee she came over and asked what I was here for, told her oil change then she told me to follow her and fill out their COVID paperwork. This could have been given out while we waited in line not to mention I was given the same clipboard and pen as everyone else without it being wiped down. More
I arrived late on a Tuesday night to look at a specific truck I identified online. I brought my paid off 2012 Ford Raptor for trade in on a 2021 Ram 1500 limited. Justin Carr was the person that helped me truck I identified online. I brought my paid off 2012 Ford Raptor for trade in on a 2021 Ram 1500 limited. Justin Carr was the person that helped me all night. Jay Garagus (sorry if I got this wrong) was also accomodating. He wasn't pushy and could tell I knew enough about trucks that I didn't need the extensive sales pitch about things I already knew. I was give a good trade in for the Raptor and the final cost of the Ram was not far from my estimated cost. My wife and I are happy with the truck, the dealership, the friendliness of everyone and more than anything else, that they were NOT pushy. Sales pressure is a big No Go for me. The only negative was I think they may have my wife thinking about an Alfa Romeo next. More
I arrived a little after nine to get my annual inspection and oil change. I was armed with my iPad and ready to wait the customary two hours to have it done. Tina of customer service told me they were only d and oil change. I was armed with my iPad and ready to wait the customary two hours to have it done. Tina of customer service told me they were only doing drop off service after five at this time. This meant I would have to drop it off and pick up after 5. Being alone I had no way to do this. I have never had to do this before and I will not be going back to them. More
I was pleased with the support I received from Southern Ram Chesapeake. Everyone was friendly and supportive. My salesperson, Clinton Lowe, did a great job of helping with the vehicle descriptions and an Ram Chesapeake. Everyone was friendly and supportive. My salesperson, Clinton Lowe, did a great job of helping with the vehicle descriptions and answered my questions in order for me to make a decision. He also tried to expedite the sales paperwork process as best he could. I actually worked with the Southern Ram team (formerly Greenbrier Dodge/Ram) in Chesapeake. More

IF IM THE OWNER OF SOUTHERN ID ASK MYSELF What is the cost of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE? WHAT IS THE VALUE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE? I looked at several dealerships across Hampton roads this weekend that had cost of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE? WHAT IS THE VALUE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE? I looked at several dealerships across Hampton roads this weekend that had NEW WRANGLERS in stock. I found one (2020) I was willing to test drive at 4pm on a Football Sunday, as I was seriously considering buying it. Credit Score around 800, I had 3-5000$ I could put down that day in hand. Sticker was 45,145 (as shown). Dealer Add ons Tires/lift we’re not disclosed until negotiations were started which was upsetting to say the least (Total 49,312$). HERES WHERE YOU LOST A CUSTOMER: So as they came back with what the price would be with those items, I politely asked what’s the best you could do for me so we can get a deal done today? Floor Manager John’s Answer: This is our best price and we are not going any lower 49,312 final... At that moment, I realized they were not trying to earn my business. Not a penny off. No explanation why, just I can’t do anything for you. After all it’s late on a Sunday and I suspected people want to go home, watch football. I politely made my way to the exit. I’m in construction working on $190,000,000 project in Williamsburg, wife is a Virginia Beach Public Schools teacher. We will not be recommending Southern in our community and to our co workers. Our experience was not good and felt the dealer was not interested in our sale on Sunday 10/25/20. Every dealership I visited this weekend wanted our business offering up to employee discount rates on some vehicles however did not have a WRANGLER we wanted. Southern had a vehicle and lost a customer yesterday and potential future customers. If you have a credit score of 750 or higher stay away. If interested in Trucks or Wranglers as I am, (I drive a 2016 Dodge Ram) I do not recommend Southern. If you have a business, or have a fleet of vehicles as my company does, I would not recommend Southern. I would have bought the vehicle at 48,500. What is the cost of bad customer service? More
Very disappointed in the current developments. We have also received a cleaning package to take home at every visit to keep our leather and carpet treated between visits. I was informed when I bought the van that this would be available as long as we owned the van. Now, I'm being told that the detail was never part of my purchase and that the oil change is no longer by appointment, and I am unable to get a loaner car while they have my van. That is unacceptable, seeing that it is our family vehicle and I have to go to work. I suppose that things change and customer service changes when people change out. The salesman that I worked with to purchase my vehicle, Mr. Carlton Little, is honest and a very good salesman. I would purchase from him again, IF he were working for another dealership. Breaking agreements, even verbal agreements, is bad for business. I will be looking elsewhere when it comes time to purchase another new vehicle. More
Terrible. Inquired about a service and price only to be told Two hours later if they aren’t able to do it we would be out $325.00 when it was previously stated they could. told Two hours later if they aren’t able to do it we would be out $325.00 when it was previously stated they could. More
