The quality of service is poor along with a slow non communicative response time. Very disappointed, had my jeep for a month for a repair that shouldn’t have taken more than 3 days. Kept it another week I had to reach out again, was told it was done, came in and it wasn’t..Another week later I called again, told it was done..repair was better than before but not great..after a month I needed my jeep back. The staff was polite and friendly but I felt like the information I was given was not consistent from one person to the next, and there were a lot of hidden fees and additional costs added. Also when I picked up my car the next day, I was surprised to see that it had not been cleaned or washed. When I've purchased cars in the past, the dealerships always vacuumed, washed, wiped down the interior, cleaned the fabric seats, and I picked up an almost spotless car. That was not the case with Southern - it did not look as though my car was cleaned at all, but I do appreciate the almost full tank of gas. More
Had an appointment to have my oil changed at 8:00 am did not get out of the shop until after 11. They also stripped my oil plug and had to pay for a new one. I had an appointment for 9:30 AM on Aug 9th. After waiting six hours for a state inspection, I was told my rear brakes failed. It would cost $780 to replace pads and rotors. They would need to o After waiting six hours for a state inspection, I was told my rear brakes failed. It would cost $780 to replace pads and rotors. They would need to order parts and keep my Jeep overnight. I was unable to leave it overnight, so they put a rejection sticker on it. In the meantime, I was able to find a shop to replace the brake pads and rotors for $487 on Aug 16th. That shop was unable to re-inspect my Jeep immediately and said I would need to leave it with them for a few days. They recommended I take it back to the original Inspector at Southern Jeep because he would only be required to re-inspect the item that failed and he would be required to do it within a reasonable timeframe. When I called Paul to find out about having my rear brakes re-inspected, he said he couldn't do it until Aug 29th, which would be 6 days past the 15 day rejection period. He also added that I would need to leave it with them all day just to have them reinspect the rear brakes. At this point, I will be forced to find a shop that can do another full inspection before the 15 day rejection period ends. More
