I've had all service (Company Fleet and Personal vehicles) completed at the dealership for 15 years. Unfortunately, this was one of the not-so-great visits. * The cost of the repairs was almost double what online research suggested. * I dropped the vehicle prior week and requested pickup for use the following weekend. * I was advised the vehicle would be completed as requested and cleaned. * At 4PM the following Friday, too late to be completed for the requested weekend, I'd still received no call to advise on vehicle status. * I called the Service Department (2) times and was advised I'd receive a call back. * Finally, after no call, I called -- to find the Service Team had all gone home. * I finally received a call -- advising the parts had just come in and that my vehicle would not be ready until the following Monday. * I received a call on Saturday advising my repairs had been completed -- unfortunately, too late to pick up or use the vehicle for the weekend. * I will now need to make arrangements to pick up the vehicle one day this week (I drive from Newport News daily). Initial phone call and text of appointment time wonderful. All else failed after that. Took my information on trade in before seeing suv I had appointment to see . Car not on lot for my appointment, tried to sell us more expensive car. Took forever. First offer on my trade in a joke. No second key for vehicle I bought. Financing changed after first signing and promise by manager of payment below $450, now $466. Not impressed at all. More
In 30 years, I have not has as poor an experience as I have with this purchase process. From the sales crew going through my trade in during negotiations and using the old window sticker from the prior sa have with this purchase process. From the sales crew going through my trade in during negotiations and using the old window sticker from the prior sale in their leverage, to not locking in an interest rate until 5 days 'post sale', having to sign paperwork multiple times because financing was done incorrectly, the list is quite long. The customer experience manager actually filled out his own survey, rating himself a 10, and signed as the customer. This was a terrible comedy of a process from start to finish, and we will no longer be customers of this dealership after literally 15 years ($200k + in vehicles in the last 18 months). The ONLY reason I'm giving more than a single star for my sales person is his diligence in following up for other people's failings. More
